Story
With a heavy heart, we’ve made the difficult decision to rehome our dog, Cubby. Cubby was born on January 27, 2023, and we’ve had him since he was 12 weeks old. Since bringing him home, our family has grown by two more children, and our schedules have become much busier than we ever anticipated. As much as we love him, we feel he deserves more time and attention than we’re currently able to give. Cubby is a very chill, laid-back dog who loves being around his family. He does great with kids and is happiest lounging nearby and just being part of the action. He’s fully potty trained and is used to going outside three times a day. He does well with other dogs, though he can be a little skittish around strangers at first. We currently live in a townhouse without a yard, so a home with a fenced yard or more space would likely make him very happy. We truly want to find the right fit for him. Widget Neutered Male 1 year old 32 lbs Breed Guess: Labradoodle Widget and Wizard were brought to a very rural animal control with their three other siblings and these poor babies were just so sad and scared. We fell in love instantly and knew we had to rescue all five of them STAT. They are kind to their core and just look to you for love and encouragement. As soon as you talk sweetly to them and let them know they’re good pups, they get the silliest, most wiggly bodies and come to you for all the pets and snuggles! They are wonderful with people and other animals and don’t seem to have a mean bone in their bodies. They will absolutely thrive in love-filled homes with families who can help build their confidence, discover the new world around them, learn basic training, and love them endlessly. They would do great with another dog friend in the home and they’ve always been surrounded by other dogs.

With his happy wiggles, soft eyes, and endlessly wagging tail, he’s the kind of dog who makes every day feel a little brighter. What Andy Loves Kids! He adores them and matches their energy with gentle enthusiasm. Running and playing ball. If it bounces or rolls, he’s all in. Being near his people. He’s affectionate without being clingy, and he’s always ready for a cuddle after playtime. Home Skills & Training Crate trained and settles nicely when it’s time to rest. Working on potty training  Learning leash manners  A fenced yard would be necessary for this playful guy who loves to stretch his legs. A Note About His Tail Andy has what’s affectionately known as “happy tail”—he wags so joyfully that he sometimes bumps it a little too hard. He’s currently working with the vet to help it heal. Raggedy Andy is ready to bring laughter, love, and a whole lot of fun to his forever family. If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited companion who will adore you with his whole heart (and whole tail), Andy might just be your match.   Stop by our weekly adoption events on Saturdays from 12-4 pm at 372 Townline Road in Mundelein, IL 60060 to meet our adoptable animals in person. Story
Hi everyone my name Lino, short for “Piccolino” which means little guy. I am about 9 weeks old and truly all puppy. I am a well rounded boy, 1 minute I am as sweet as pie... and then the next minute full of puppy energy and ready to play. I do love to lay and cuddle, I love being around my people all the time. I even go as far to follow them where ever they go. I love my foster brother siblings Leo and Cash, they keep me occupied and busy playing. I know I look little but I hold my own playing, Im pretty spunky like that. I'm working on potty training and basic puppy training, its going well but slow. You see i would just prefer play. I have learned how to use this thing that flaps out and it lets me out in the yard to do my business. I have even learned how to climb steps to go upstairs. Lino has his 1st vet appointment with our vet this Friday, so we will have more information to share He has had his 1st round of distemper and deworm and started on prevention If interested in meeting me please email my rescue at rescue@atailof4paws.org or fill out an application from their website Www.atailof4paws.org
