My name is Sam and I’m an 8 year old labradoodle. I’m a gentle giant and the most loving dog you will ever meet. I’m good with cats and other dogs, but a little socially awkward with dogs when getting to know them. I get a little nervous of other dogs when out of my safe spaces (like when going on a walk) but never am aggressive. I am great on walks and love to go for hikes and swimming. For a large 8 year old I still have plenty of energy and love to play.What I need is someone to give me attention and routine. I love attention and will be the perfect match for someone who has time to spend with me. I am protective of my home and have a habit of barking at people passing by the window, but I’m quick to redirect and will be great home security.I am 100 pounds of warm cuddles and love to snuggle so I know I can be the perfect companion for someone who loves the same.

She is incredibly loving with women but is terrified of men. Their presence sends her into a state of panic, and it isn’t fair to ask her to live with that fear.She is a tiny, sweet mini Poodle who would happily spend all day curled up in your lap and sleeps at the foot of the bed every night. She’s dog-door trained, has excellent house manners, and does well with other dogs.She currently takes Prozac to help manage her anxiety and requires a sedative for grooming.She has not been around young children, but given her history and anxious temperament, we’re looking for an adult home.Her dream home is with a single woman or an all-female household where she can finally relax and feel safe. This is an incredibly difficult decision, but our household is almost entirely men.

Ive discovered that people can be pretty wonderful, and recently I learned about something that has completely changed my life: TOYS. Oh boy, are they fun! I still get excited every time I get to play, as if Im making up for lost time. Watching me discover new things is one of my favorite ways to make my humans smile.<br/><br/>Another thing I absolutely love? Other dogs. If you really want to see the happiest version of me, just put me in a yard with a canine friend. Nothing beats running, playing, and zooming around with a four-legged buddy.
