🐈🐱🐈 Cat-friendly 🐈🐱🐈 A light sprinkling of Pepper can be all you need to savor life’s good stuff! Pepper came to us shy and scared, but we could tell there was a whole lot of sweetness in there. With lots of snuggles, consistency and a few treats, her personality has absolutely blossomed while she’s been in foster. She is adorable and loves to be loved. Her history of being neglected has not changed her love toward people one bit. She’s gonna make someone(s) such a terrific pal. Pepper is a goofy 1-year-old Catahoula/Black Labrador mix who weighs a svelte 40 pounds. Her coat and markings are endlessly beautiful – and her looks definitely attract attention. Like any good peppery flavor, she’ll take a bit of time to show her full character. So she’ll need a patient family who’ll give her the days and weeks to get accustomed to her new place. Before you know it, her silly self will emerge, and she’ll be talking to you regularly and asking for her favorite belly scratches. She is a low-key lady who just wants someone to love her (which is really easy to do). Pepper loves all her people once she’s comfortable. She likes things pretty quiet, so she should live with older kids (10+) who don’t make as much noise. She doesn’t jump on kids and is really patient with them. She likes to take her time getting to know other dogs, but once she is acquainted, she likes them a lot. She LOVES her foster dog sibling and would benefit from having a confident dog around to show her how great her new family and home are. She does fine with cats. Pepper sits on command and responds to other things you say. She is house trained with a consistent routine, and she’s crate trained. She sleeps in bed with her foster people or on the floor at night. She does fine on a leash, but she is afraid of cars, so walks aren’t always her favorite. Walks on trails or paths away from the street could be enjoyable, with time. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and she’ll come to you current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Her adoption fee is $175. To adopt this beauty, apply today at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
🍀 Lucky 🍀 is one of those dogs that makes you feel better, just having him around the house or by your side. Your heart is lighter, you smile more, and you find yourself looking on the bright side of things. He is a 6-year-old blind Labrador Retriever mix weighing about 60 lbs. He’s so smart, and his blindness really doesn’t affect him that much, as you’ll see when you read more about him. 🍀 Lucky 🍀 is mellow and just goes with the flow. Especially when the flow includes pets and cuddles for him, which he accepts graciously, without being pushy about it. He absolutely adores kids and is super friendly and gentle with everyone he meets. He’s a smart boy and knows commands like sit, lay down and shake. He is a really good boy around the house and doesn’t get into stuff that isn’t his. He can be left alone while his people are busy or away, and he sleeps all night in bed with people, in his dog bed or on the couch. His goofy side emerges when there might be food or treats available. Those are a couple of his favorite things, and he gets all excited at meal time or when his people get near where the treats are kept. He loves all toys, especially ones he can play tug with. He also likes to play “go find.” 🍀 Lucky 🍀 enjoys walks and does all right on the leash. Mostly, though, he’s lower energy and just wants to snuggle with you while you pet him. He gets along with other dogs, and bigger dogs are preferable to small ones. Because of his eyesight, Lucky should have a fenced yard. He’d do great with a dog sibling to show him the ropes. He can do stairs just fine, but ideally he’s in a home that doesn’t have an excessive amount of stairs. If you adopt 🍀 Lucky 🍀, YOU are going to be the lucky one(s)! He’s truly a gem and so easy to love. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. Apply to adopt him at PawsitiveTailsKC.org, and meet him once you’re approved! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

Story
Come for the happy puppy energy, stay for the cuddles! That is Megatron’s vibe encapsulated. And one of these days, the rest of Megatron will catch up with his big paws and transform him into a full-grown good boy, who’ll probably weigh upwards of 60 lbs. He is a 4-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who is ready to make himself at home at your place with your family. Megatron sits on command and walks great on a leash – pretty impressive for a pup his age, to be able to focus that puppy brain. He is working on house training and crate training, so with practice, he’ll get all of that down pat and be ready to put his best foot (read: huge puppy paw!) forward. As a puppy, he has lots of energy for toys and playtime. He’d love to play whatever games you have in mind, and he’s equally happy to include other dogs in the fun. He’s a great dog playtime buddy, and he doesn’t have to, but he’d have a blast in a home with a doggie sibling. If you have a yard where he can run, all the better for tiring out those growing legs. Megatron basks in love and attention – he wants all you’re willing to give him. The good pets, the best scratches and all the “good boys” you can say will please him to no end. You’ll get rewarded with some of the sweetest snuggling ever. At night, he cuddles up and drifts off to sleep in bed with his foster people, too. He will come to you neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, as well as current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm preventative. His adoption fee is $275. If you want to take this adorable puppy machine for a spin, apply to adopt him today at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤
