Story
Ralse is a loving 6-year-old, 75-pound dog adopted from a shelter in Kansas City, Kansas. He appears black but has gray and white in his coat, with soft brown eyes and a gentle, people-loving personality. He is house-trained and generally well-behaved, with only minor habits like getting into wrappers or paper. He gets along with other dogs but has a strong prey drive and cannot live with cats. Ralse is strong on leash and will pull when he sees dogs or squirrels, so he needs someone comfortable with a larger dog or willing to continue training. He can jump a 4-foot fence, so a secure yard or supervision is important. This is a very difficult decision, but I can no longer give him the care he deserves. I’m seeking a loving, responsible home where he can thrive.

My name is Sam and I’m an 8 year old labradoodle. I’m a gentle giant and the most loving dog you will ever meet. I’m good with cats and other dogs, but a little socially awkward with dogs when getting to know them. I get a little nervous of other dogs when out of my safe spaces (like when going on a walk) but never am aggressive. I am great on walks and love to go for hikes and swimming. For a large 8 year old I still have plenty of energy and love to play.What I need is someone to give me attention and routine. I love attention and will be the perfect match for someone who has time to spend with me. I am protective of my home and have a habit of barking at people passing by the window, but I’m quick to redirect and will be great home security.I am 100 pounds of warm cuddles and love to snuggle so I know I can be the perfect companion for someone who loves the same.

Maybel is a beautiful 8-year-old female Labradoodle with a sunny blonde coat and a calm, loving personality. She’s fully trained, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccinations. She loves lounging in the sun on the deck and enjoys spending her days relaxing. Maybel is great with kids and other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for a family. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely enjoy her time outside. Maybel has never been around cats or other animals, so a slow introduction would be needed if you have other pets. She is very low energy but very loving! Doesn’t jump or run indoors. Vet says shes in perfect health but she is getting slower in her midlife. Loves booty scratches and waiting for the kids to drop food off the table for an extra treat. Approx. DOB: 3/1/25                 Approx Weight: 75 Lbs Adoption Fee: $300 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! John Wayne aka Johnny is a gorgeous yellow lab weighing 75pds. We guess him to be anywhere from 10 months to a year old, so he still has some growing to do. He is just an extra-large sweet boy who loves everyone he meets. Johnny is super confident with a big puppy personality.  He loves playing with the other dogs, but we have learned that most dogs under 50 pounds can't handle his rough play style. He isn't aggressive or dominate but his being a huge puppy he thinks every dog is a big puppy. Johnny has a best friend who loves to play with him. We noticed if he starts playing a little too rough she  will correct him with a quick growl. He will immediately act submissive. She weighs 55 pds. Johnny doesn't want to do anything but play.  After playing for about 30 minutes he is usually ready to rest.  He is definitely NOT a super active guy. Just a regular lab personality. Super sweet, loving,  goofy and playful. He is just a all around wonderful pup. Johnny would be great with most any family. If you have a cat we are able to test him to be sure he is good around them.    Johnny is in a small boarding facility waiting for a foster home to open up. We do know he has been great when crated. Give this big, gorgeous, goofy boy a chance. There is a 2 week trial to help insure your happiness and his.     We are working with him on leash training. He is a work in progress. Johnny wants to please his humans. He craves human contact.    I have been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible. A little timid around strangers but fine once she gets to know you. Great with kids. Loves to run and play outside. I've had no problem taking her outside without a leash. She always comes when you call her. She's very smart. It made me select a breed i have no idea what breed she is.
