Meet Lure (aka Brewer)! 🖤
1 year old | 75 lbs | Labradoodle
Lure is the total package for the right home—a goofy, affectionate, professionally trained Labradoodle who loves adventure just as much as he loves curling up on the couch.
This handsome guy has mastered his manners. He's fully house trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash with a loose heel. Whether you're heading out for a neighborhood stroll, relaxing in the backyard, or enjoying a lazy evening on the couch, Lure is happiest simply being by your side. He adores chasing a ball, soaking up the sunshine, chewing on a Kong or bone, and, despite his 75-pound frame, firmly believes he's a lap dog.
Lure is looking for a home without young children. He's currently being returned because the fast-paced environment of living with two toddlers has been overwhelming for him. While he has done wonderfully with professional training and is a completely different dog when the children aren't around, the unpredictability and constant movement of young kids cause him stress. In those situations, he becomes a bit overstimulated .Because of this, we're looking for an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teenagers where he can truly relax and thrive.
He gets along well with other dogs and currently lives with another large female dog. He would enjoy a canine companion with a similar play style, though he'd also be happy as the center of your world. Cats are unknown.
Lure is incredibly smart and knows commands including sit, down, stay, shake, heel, crate, drop it, and recall. He's eager to please, loves treats, and has a sweet, sensitive personality. He may submissively pee if harshly corrected, so he responds best to patient, positive reinforcement.
If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will happily join you on walks, lounge in the yard while you garden, supervise your weekend projects, and then snuggle up with you at the end of the day, Lure could be your perfect match.
