Story
Greggy and Gracie are 5-month-old (Born approximately January 15, 2024) black lab mixes that weigh approximately 25-30 lbs each. These pups LOVE to smile. They are so carefree and happy pups; they don’t know that nobody wants them yet. They are the happiest, most friendliest puppies you will meet. These 2 pups LOVE life and everyone they meet, kids and adults, men and women. Greggy and Gracie are the definition of perfection. They are very smart, they’re eager to learn, super playful, beyond loving, gentle, snuggly, entertaining and ready to be in their forever homes. Somebody messaged us regarding these 2 pups that were found wandering around their house in a rural part of south Texas. They think somebody dumped them. Black dogs are not easy to adopt out, but we hope you will see past their color, and see their beautiful personalities. These pups are very smart. Within a short time, they have learned a few commands and with time, will definitely be able to master and learn more. They are super eager to learn. They aim to please and one of their only goals in life is to please their humans. Gracie and Greggy would do wonderful with all ages of children, as they have your typical gentle demeanor of a lab. They love other dogs and would do great in a home with other dogs or in a home alone. They have been introduced to cats and they don’t show any interest in them. They are still working on house training, but with proper stimulation, training and exercise, will have no issues mastering it. Adoption fee includes: Spay or neuter, current negative heart worm test, current parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella (kennel cough), rabies vaccination, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, dewormer, microchip, health certificate from a veterinarian, and transport costs from Texas to the East coast. TO APPLY TO ADOPT: Please fill out an application on our website to adopt: www.ruraltank.org/adopt Most of our animals are located in Texas unless otherwise specified at the top of their bio. They are available for transport once adopted – There are different companies we use, all are USDA licensed. We have transport companies that can go directly to your door (this option costs slightly more, but it’s a smaller transport and more one on one care). This company can go as far as the Canadian border along the east coast. We use larger companies who are just as fantastic, this transport is included in the adoption fee, but they meet at general stops along the route, depending on where adopters are located for that specific transport. Most transports have stops in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. Once you are an approved adopter, we can put you in touch with the foster to learn more about the animal if you'd like and we will go over more specifics on transport options and dates. Transports generally leave every 1-3 weeks.

Story
Maverick was abandoned by his owner and while we don't know much about his history, we can tell that he has had almost NO training. This young pup is very mouthy, plays rough and rude. He'll need a dedicated, experienced adopter to work on his training and impulse control to help him grow into a well-mannered adult dog and happy companion. Hamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot offer any guarantees on the age, health, temperament, personality or mental disposition of any pet. Story
N*Sync is making a comeback! Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass will dance their way into hearts and homes. These boys can just look at you and make you want to melt. Born on June 8, 2024 – our boy band used to be a band of 7. They were born under a home, but the owner decided they didn’t want anything to do with them, so they refused them food and water, and 2 ended up passing of dehydration. Unfortunately, our laws just do not protect animals, so when we heard of the situation, we immediately took the puppies into our care. Mom and dad are unknown. Thanks to groceries, water, and love, they are now thriving and ready to find their forever families. They cannot get enough of being around you. When you’re walking through the house, these pups are right on your heels, following you and begging to be picked up. Despite what their previous humans did to them, they absolutely love human attention and affection. They will follow you around until you don’t allow them to any longer (when they’re back in the puppy pen). They are learning what pee pads are and are catching on quickly to go on them. These boys are very smart and with proper training and one on one care, they will learn fast. They LOVE food and are very treat motivated. You’ll notice a lot of the pictures have jerky treats in them, that seems to be their favorite! As of 8/17, these 5 boys only weigh about 5 lbs. We believe they’ll be about 35-40 lbs once full grown. Their paws are not very big. Since we do not know their parents though, we cannot guarantee size. We do believe Joey will stay smaller than the rest, with Justin being next smallest. They LOVE their toys and learning how to properly play with them. Most of the toys are bigger than them! Be aware: They may lick you to death Wiggle butts explain them perfectly, they are always on the go, always exploring and always wanting to be around humans. They LOVE the fosters dogs and have met their kitties, no issues with either. They get along great with the dogs (big and small) and all the kitties are bigger than they are and they’re more scared of the kitties than anything else. Justin, Joey, Lance, Chris and JC will thrive in all types of environments; they are the sweetest boys who will make the most cuddly, affectionate, loving, and loyal companions. If you would like to adopt this puppy, please complete an application on our website: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is healthy, up to date on vaccinations (bordatella, DAPPV), current on preventions (Credelio Plus), dewormed and microchipped. A certificate of health is issued from a vet prior to transport. We are a small, struggling rescue in Texas where we do our best to prevent euthanasia in shelters and help stray and neglected animals find forever homes. Adoption fees are our only source of funding for the rescue. Unless otherwise specified at the top of the profile for this animal, this animal is considered to be located in foster care in Texas and available for transport once adopted.

Story
Arya, Sansa, Jasmine, Maple, Ava, and Hobbs are all Great Pyrenees/Retriever mix puppies born on May 9th. These 6 huggable, lovable teddy bears are ready for their homes! 3 have found their forever homes, and 6 are remaining. There are 5 females and 1 male left in the litter. As of 8/30, these puppies weighed between 22 lbs each, and just are hitting their growth spurt 😊 Here is what the foster wrote about each of them as of 8/30 - Hobbs - Is the smallest of the litter, Hobbs is a sweet boy that can be somewhat timid and sensitive in nature, although still remaining very loving and affectionate. Probably from getting picked on by his bigger brothers and sisters, but I’m sure with time on his own he will flourish. He is a laid-back boy that mostly enjoys lounging around, taking long naps, and keeping to himself. He is a quiet, happy, smiley boy that prefers to stay out of trouble. His love language is gift giving (treats) and quality time. He is a happy guy anywhere, indoor or outdoor but he does prefer to remain dry. Arya - Arya is an active girl that enjoys running around and living an active life outdoors, she is always down for a good time. Arya is very affectionate and enjoys licking other dogs in the mouth so that they know how much she loves them, which has gotten her in trouble with mom on multiple occasions. She enjoys playing with kids and other dogs, she shows interest in fetching with a ball, although she hasn’t brought it back yet, she is just an all-around wonderful girl. After a long run or lots of playing, Arya enjoys a dip in the pool, she is not afraid of water or getting dirty. Arya is always smiling and the first to greet you. Arya’s love languages are physical touch, gifts and quality time. Maple - Maple is a sweet girl that respects her boundaries and chooses not to escape. She prefers to stay dry and clean although she will go in water on her own terms. Maple enjoys playing with kids and other dogs and expresses interest in treats (zukes) and running after the ball. Maple is a very happy-go-lucky gal that is seeking companionship. Maple also expresses interest in moving reflections on the ground, she has the potential to be a red dot chaser (laser pointer light). Maples love language is gift giving and quality time. Ava - Ava has the softest prettiest white coat of all the pups. Her ears are like little radars, and she will alarm you of anything going on out of the ordinary. She also enjoys talking back to you from time to time, but not nearly as often as her sister. When she’s not on high alert, Ava enjoys lounging around and napping. She is very laid back most of the time. Ava likes to go for walks and explore new things, she’s a very curious girl. Her love languages are gift giving (treats) and quality time. Sansa - Sansa enjoys long conversations and chin rubs. Sansa is a somewhat chatty girl. She will tell you exactly what’s on her mind and question you on where you have been. She will greet you with a little bit of sass and lots of big tail wags. Quality time and words of affirmation are her love language. She has a sweet personality and is full of kisses. Sansa prefers to stay dry and clean; she is big on her personal appearance. Sansa is a great companion that likes you to be near her or someplace where she can sit and watch you. Jasmine - Jasmine has a love for the outdoors and wide-open spaces. After a long walk, Jasmine enjoys sitting in the swimming pool, although not fully submerged, just enough to cool off her backside. She likes to use her front paws to give hugs and to shake. She is a sweet girl who is full of love and kisses. Sometimes you will find Jasmine just sitting back, relaxing and people watching in the shade. She enjoys a good belly rub and will roll over on her back so that you know exactly what she needs. The mom is a beautiful white retriever mix, and the dad is a Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix on the smaller side. We do have pictures of the parents and mom will be getting fixed and staying with the original finder. We estimate full grown these puppies will be around 55-70 lbs. These puppies have got it all going on. They were born in foster care and have been exposed to other dogs, all ages of children and adults since they were born and are the friendliest, most loving puppies you’ll meet. They LOVE water. Give them a pool, take them to the river/lake/ocean or any body of water and they’ll go crazy. Their thicker coats make them wonderful candidates to live up north during the winter and enjoy the beautiful summers. We have a fun video of them playing in their pool! They all love children! They would make wonderful family dogs. Their tails don’t stop wagging when they see people and they are always up for a good time, whether it’s playing outside, going on walks, or just learning new things. The current foster has 2 children - 3 and 5 years old and they do fantastic with them. 6 puppies are a lot to have, but these babies are already learning quickly. Very smart. They follow the fosters dogs outside and when given one on one time, they will master whatever you teach them. They love to cuddle and give kisses. You’ll get kisses galore with them! They are all very quirky, amazing puppies that are all around happy go lucky and just love to cuddle, run around, play and get lots of love. These babies will make FANTASTIC family dogs and very loyal companions. ________________________________________________________________________________ If you would like to adopt this doggy/puppy, please complete an application on our website: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, current on preventions, dewormed and microchipped. Story
Say hello to Shadow, a 1 1/2-year-old male Lab/German Shepherd mix weighing around 55 pounds. He is house trained. Shadow is a very shy boy who has been with us at rescue since he was six months old. We asked a trainer for help with his shyness, and he had improved by leaps and bounds. He is more playful and confident. We're looking for a warm and caring family who will understand when he's timid and provide him with lots of love and reassurance. Shadow will benefit from a fenced-in yard. Though he's gentle natured and wouldn't hurt a fly, small children may startle him; therefore, a home with older children or adults only would be best. Shadow does well with other dogs and cats. His foster says of him, " Shadow K is an extraordinary dog, he just isn't yet sure how to show it. His heart is filled with love!" She enjoys playing with kids and other dogs, she shows interest in fetching with a ball, although she hasn’t brought it back yet, she is just an all-around wonderful girl.
