Whether it's playtime in the yard or heading out for a walk, Allie brings enthusiasm wherever she goes. Because she gets so excited (life is just that fun!), Allie is working on channeling that energy in more focused ways, like holding a toy while getting harnessed or heading out for walks. This helps redirect her excitement and sets her up for success. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she'll continue to improve. Allie is both dog-friendly and kid-friendly! She would do best with children who understand that she's an energetic, playful pup and may get excited during playtime. Kids who are comfortable around an active dog and can respect her space when she needs it will make great companions for her. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with. A fenced yard is a must for Allie so she can safely run, play, and burn off her energy. Story
We just want a loving home for our dog. I wish we could find someone to take her and allow us to visit her. We just aren’t able to walk her as much as we would like. We also leave for 1-2 months a year and that means we have to leave her with someone and it can cost her a lot of money to do that. Kiera is an incredibly well behaved and loving dog. She is excellent with kids and is therapeutic. She is so smart as well. We would love to be able to share her if this is possible. For example, if the adoptee needs to go somewhere, we can watch her for free. We love her. We just can’t giver her the life she deserves, which is more exercise and play.
