Rhett is a happy-go-lucky Labradoodle with a heart full of love and a personality that will keep you smiling! This sweet boy is the definition of a loyal companion—he loves to stay close to his person and quickly becomes your little shadow wherever you go. Rhett is not only adorable, but he’s also incredibly well-mannered and eager to learn. He’s crate trained, house trained, and already picking up on great habits in his foster home. He’s mastered waiting patiently for his meals (even with a wagging tail and a little scoot closer!) until he hears the magic words, “okay, go!” He’s also learned boundaries like a pro—even resisting the temptation to follow his humans everywhere by respecting off-limit spaces. This smart pup is very trainable and has already made big progress—like learning how to navigate stairs (he was a little clumsy at first, but he’s getting the hang of it!). He has great recall, walks nicely on a leash, and loves nothing more than a good game of fetch. Rhett is friendly with everyone he meets and does wonderfully with other dogs. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready for fun, making him the perfect addition to a loving home looking for a joyful, devoted companion. Luke Local is currently in RI and looking for a “furever” home! Just in time for Star Wars Day, Luke is looking to use the force to find a new hope. Luke is a 5 yr old yellow lab being surrendered locally through absolutely NO fault of his own. Luke is a bundle of energy and joy! We met him at our event on Saturday and he’s super friendly and loves people & other dogs. Luke is very strong and pulls on leash, especially when he’s sees dogs because he wants to make friends with them all! Very treat motivated! Luke loves kids! No toddlers just because he’s still jumpy and doesn’t realize his own strength! Just a big, loving goober at about 75 lbs! Luke is house and crate trained, neutered and up to date.   Adopt him you will! Adam Dean is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Adam is happiest when the snow is falling and good luck getting him to come back inside. This fun loving guy thrives with another playful dog to bring out his full personality and match his energy. He adores his people, lives for car adventures, and is ready to be your copilot through every season. Adam is a really sweet boy!  At first he is slow to warm up but by the third day he was in his foster home he really opened up!  He loves to follow his humans around and lay next to them during the day.  He is good with people and has met kids at some of our adoption events.  He loves hanging out with the resident dogs and he'll lay and snuggle with them and enjoys playing with them too.  He hasn't been noted to resource guard.  He also isn't vocal.  He loves to be outside and run around in the yard.  He's not destructive but occasionally will start to nibble on his doggie bed.  He is easily redirected with a toy.  He is doing very well with housetraining and hasn't had any accidents yet.  He likes his crate and sleeps in it all night without crying.  He's food motivated so he should be easier to train.  Adam is great in the car and usually just takes a nap.  He isn't very high energy but does like to play with toys.  He will snuggle up with his foster humans on the couch at night before bed.  He would do best in a home that is willing to be patient with him while he gets comfortable and is looking for a chill laid back dog.  Adam will require another friendly confident dog in the home to continue to help him blossom!May 23, 2026, 6:36 am
