Story
Sebastian is 7 years old. He is a great dog for someone who doesn’t have young children or babies. He’s smart, energetic and very cuddly. However he requires a lot of attention and has high separation anxiety and we just don’t feel we can give him the full care lately that he needs with young babies at home. It’s heartbreaking but we know he could be easily loved by the right family.

Story
Gus is an energetic, fun-loving Labradoodle who absolutely loves people and thrives on human attention. He especially enjoys playing fetch, being outside, and spending time with his family. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. We adopted Gus about 8 months ago. He gets along well with our German Shepherd, but Gus and our Labrador have had repeated altercations, primarily around food and high-arousal situations such as outdoor play. Because of this, we believe Gus would do best in either a single-dog household or potentially with a larger, non-Lab breed dog (similar to our German Shepherd), in a calm and structured home. Gus is approximately 2 years old and is up to date on his vaccinations. When we adopted him, he tested positive for heartworms and is currently about 8 months into treatment (slow-kill method). He will need a retest in 4 months and is expected to be clear. He walks well on a leash and has done basic training, including sit and wait, he does great with people.

When Button first arrived at the shelter, the big changes in his life left him feeling nervous and unsure—but day by day, this brave boy has been blossoming. With each new friend he meets and every kind word he hears, Button’s tail wags a little harder and his eyes shine a little brighter.Button is the perfect blend of calm and playful. He enjoys quiet moments, soaking up gentle affection, and simply being near his people—but he also has a fun, joyful side that comes out once he feels comfortable. He walks beautifully on leash and loves going out for strolls, taking in the world with curiosity and growing confidence. Most of all, Button is a companion dog through and through. He just wants someone patient, loving, and ready to give him the reassurance and stability he deserves. Story
Meet Ziggy This 10-year-old Lab mix is a sweet, golden-hearted senior who’s ready for her next chapter. Ziggy came to the shelter through no fault of her own when her owner could no longer care for her, and she’s been doing her best to adjust. In her previous home, Ziggy did great with other dogs, kids, and is potty trained—a total pro. At the shelter, her favorite thing is a good game of fetch (seriously, toss the ball and you’ve got a friend for life). Shelter life can be a little overwhelming, so she shows some anxiety here, but we think that’ll melt away once she’s back in a cozy home where she can relax.Ziggy is gentle, loving, and so deserving of a soft place to land. Let’s get this sweet senior out of the shelter and into the home she’s been waiting for
