Story
Guster is a great dog, about 18 months old. Therefore he has alot of energy. My wife is disabled. Gus is a has too much energy for us to keep. Alot of the time he will relax and sleep, however he needs more activity than our circumstance allows. We were given Gus by a young couple from Remlap as a possible pet and companion for my wife. While he is a good dog, his play needs are neglected by us as we are older and not capable of giving him the work out he requires and deserves. We think Guster ( Gus) is beautiful. He is a mix breed with and gentle disposition part Lab possible and hound dog. Puppy playful. I'd like to see him adopted by someone whose circumstance would allow him to run as he loves to run and play in circles with our neighbor's dogs. We've spent some money getting his due claws removed without issue.

Meet Duke! He is a very handsome, super playful guy who loves to be outside with his family. Duke is a quick learner and will thrive in a home dedicated to helping him continue his training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. He would love a doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep him from getting bored. Most of all he just wants to be with his family. He is house trained and crate trained. Duke loves car rides, neighborhood walks, and relaxing with his people on the couch. Duke does well with other dogs, when introduced properly. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Story
Meet Kimber. He was taken in with his brother and buddy Ruger. He is a 3 1/2-4 yr old, 70-75 lb sweetheart lab mix. Kimber is just a big love bug. Tends to be lower energy. He’s a bit on the shy/timid side compared to his brother. He enjoys plenty of affection, chasing and talking to birds, sunbathing, chewing bones, playing with doggy siblings, taking walks, or lounging on the couch. Kimber would enjoy a nice yard or land with doggy friends, plenty of affection, and maybe a couch or comfy bed to call it a day on. In his foster home he has become accustomed to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Kimber is vetted, neutered, microchipped, house trained, kennel trained, walks on a leash, and knows basic commands. Kimber would make a great loving companion. If you would like to meet this sweet guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ . Story
Sora is one of the sweetest dogs there is. I’m unsure how he is with cats but he absolutely adores humans and other dogs. He’s easy going and hometrained. However he would benefit from a little more impulse training. He loves to jump up and greet new people. He’s the ideal dog looking for the ideal home. That’ll give him affection and snuggle close with him as he sleeps like the couch potato he is. He is heartworm positive but its not contagious and I’m working with the vet for a continued medication regimen.

Story
🫶🏼UPDATE: beau is now thriving in a foster home with his five fur siblings and his foster parents. Beau is beyond happy to finally be in a home and is the best boy. He loves to play with his foster siblings and follow his parents around the house. 🫶🏼 Meet Beau, a special pup with an extraordinary story. Beau started his life as part of an accidental litter, born because his mom wasn’t spayed. Despite his rough beginning, Beau’s resilience shines through. Beau came into rescue a bit older than the cute, roly-poly puppies, so he didn’t get as much attention from adopters. He spent several months in a kennel through no fault of his own. He had a foster who loved him, but life’s demands meant he didn’t get all the attention and outlets he needed. We invested in a board and train program for Beau, where he learned valuable manners and skills hoping it would make him more desirable for a potential foster or adopter. But once his training was over, we had no foster for him, so he ended up back in boarding, where he got along great with other dogs, but was a little too enthusiastic about food around his furiends. He now lives in a foster home with 5 other dogs , but Beau is now craving the love and attention of a forever home. Beau is people-oriented, food, and treat motivated, and an ideal adventure buddy. He gets along with everyone but does need clear structure and boundaries for his higher energy level. Beau is strong-willed and would thrive with an owner who can provide him with the attention, love, and structure he needs to be a fantastic family dog. He’s already house-trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He sleeps great in his crate overnight and has never had an accident. He knows how to sit and is working on his manners and leash walking and improving fast! Story
Hi, I'm McKennie a 6-year-old big, fluffy Golden/Pyrenees mix. I've been through some hard times. I was found by rescuers in Tennessee, but they were closing their rescue so they called AGB who couldn't say no to a beautiful boy like me. I had some skin issues, ear infections, and was heartworm positive but all those things have been treated now and I am in great shape with a beautiful light golden coat! I've spent time with AGB's certified behaviorist partners and they all say I am super smart, wanting to please and very devoted to the people I bond with! I can be wary of strangers but I warm up pretty quick. I love my walks and am gentle on the leash. I also love belly rubs, naps on the couch or the cool floor, and treats. I get along great with other social dogs and I've been with my current foster home for some time now. I'm ready for my forever home. I hope you'll want to meet me, McKennie!

Story
My name is Bunny and I'm a 2-year-old pretty little lady. Unfortunately, my family couldn't care for me anymore, so they reached out to AGB for help finding me a wonderful new family. Given the recent upheaval in my life, I am experiencing a little trouble trusting new people. However, once you spend some time with me and we bond, I will trust you and want to be with you as much as possible. I am sweet and loving like most Goldens and I get along well with children. I'm a good girl in the house, crate trained and housetrained. I am tons of fun to play with! I love being by my human's side and am always up for an adventure or just to hunker down and chill with you. I love to play with other social dogs too and I don't mind feline friends. I am ready to find my new forever family so if you think we might be a good match, hurry up and submit an application because a great catch like me!
