Charlie loves to play and appreciates alot of scratching. He does like to dig and sometimes doesn't play well with other dogs. Really a great dog to have around. He unfortunately doesn't get enough attention anymore now that we have a young family.

Story
Aubrey came to us when a kind man felt sorry for an abandoned litter of pups. He took them in and cared for them until he could find a rescue to help. Aubrey is a sweet girl, she is learning house training. She loves playing with her sisters and other pups but she also loves quiet time and cuddles. Our dogs are current on vaccines, adults are heartworm tested. They are on heartworm prevention and flea tick prevention. They are microchipped and spayed/neuter has been completed. We normally show at Trussville petsmart store on Saturdays from 1030 until 330. We can also arrange appointments. please email Rpacirescue@gmail.com to receive an adoption application. Story
Meet Cali, a one-year-old lab mix with an extremely gentle disposition who is looking for a forever family with another dog to be her best friend.  Born to a feral mom, Cali and her siblings spent the first couple of months of their lives without much human interaction. Cali has truly blossomed during the last year in her foster home. She is calm, super easy and extremely loyal. Cali can still be a little shy meeting new people, but she’s the most loving companion once she gets to know you.  Cali depends on the other dogs in her foster home, and she would do best with at least one other dog in her future forever home. She also needs a fenced yard to keep her safe. Cali doesn’t really enjoy walks, so her forever family doesn’t need to be active.  Cali is a small to medium girl, weighing just 33 lbs full grown. She is fully potty trained and uses the doggy door at her foster home. She loves sleeping in the human bed at night, usually up by the pillows, and often sleeps next to the children in her foster home. She’s wonderful with kids and loves to cuddle.  Cali will need a patient family who is willing to give her time to adjust to a new home. But for the lucky family that gets to adopt her, Cali will be a loyal and loving companion. Story
Introducing the Little Old Timers Litter! Born at the beginning of April, this adorable litter has us a bit stumped when it comes to their breed mix! These unique puppies keep us guessing with their variety of traits—pink spotted noses, two with striking blue eyes, and even one fluffy little ball of fur. Your guess is probably as good as ours when it comes to what breeds make up this precious bunch! While their ancestry may be a mystery, one thing is certain: these puppies are incredibly sweet, social, and full of love. Meet Silas, our handsome, chunky blue-eyed boy with a heart as big as his adorable puppy paws. Silas has a laid-back, happy-go-lucky personality that makes him a joy to be around. While he enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home, he’s equally content being held, loved on, and showered with belly scratches. Silas is doing great with house training and takes life’s adventures in stride. His easygoing nature and affectionate personality make him the kind of puppy who fits in just about anywhere. Silas is ready to become someone’s beloved best friend. Story
Meet Rudy! Rudy is a handsome Lab mix born in July 2025 and weighing about 45 lbs. With his adorable freckles and gentle personality, he’s as charming as they come. We think he may have a little hound and possibly cattle dog mixed in, giving him both good looks and a smart, loyal nature. Rudy gets along well with other dogs and especially enjoys playing with his brother, Blitzen. For an adolescent pup, he has a wonderfully calm temperament and is happy to relax once playtime is over. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate and is doing great with house training. Rudy also walks nicely on a leash and even handles bath time like a champ. While Rudy can be a little timid when entering new environments, he settles in with patience and encouragement. With a loving family to help build his confidence, he’s sure to blossom into an incredibly devoted companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing young dog with a gentle heart and the cutest freckles around, Rudy might be your perfect match. 🐾 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel.
