Story
This good-looking fellow is Blue, a 1 ½ year old mix of Lab and Husky.  He weighs about 55 pounds now and shouldn’t increase in weight anymore.  (Unless you feed him doughnuts!) The first time you meet him, you’ll see how his short, black coat shines in the sun!  Blue (called that due to one of his eyes being part blue) is a good boy.  He gets along well with other dogs at daycare, and he’s terrific with his foster’s six-year-old son.  And they love each other so much!  Although he gets along with all kids, though, it might be best if your family doesn’t have very small children, not because he’ll intentionally hurt them, but he might knock them over because he’s excited at play.  Shy upon meeting, Blue would do best in a home with another dog, a pal who could help him feel more comfortable with his time spent alone.  A canine friend would really be great!  A fine boy, he would be a great addition to your family! ! Story
Oh, what a fine girl one year old Mylee is!  A mix of Lab and Retriever, she weighs 40 pounds and will probably add a few more.  She’s a girl who loves fun and she’s great with other dogs, kids, and her foster’s cat!  Maybe one of nicest things about her, though, is her coat which is medium length and reddish-brown with white on her chest and the tips of her toes.  (She thinks her toes are lovely!)  You’ll think they’re lovely, too!  (posted 5/9/23, TN)  **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption Fee/Transport Fee: $250.00 We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  September 28, 2023, 11:22 pm

Story
Six-month-old Lab mix Amelia Rose is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  Her short coat is a fine brindle, and her eyes are large and questioning.  She weighs between 40 and 45 pounds and will probably grow to a mature weight of around 60 pounds.  Amelia Rose has a fine temperament and is good with other dogs, kids, and their foster mom’s cat. She enjoys playing in the doggy pool whenever she can, too.  What a sweetie!  (6/25/23, TN)  (revised 9/10/23) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $375 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . Story
Janet is a 2-year-old mix of Lab and Hound. She has already reached her mature weight of 50-55 pounds. She wears a short coat of brown and white that she loves to have stroked! Janet was surrendered to the kill shelter by her owners through no fault of her own. This sweet girl adores people and prefers calm dogs rather than hyper ones. Regardless, she loves to play! She also enjoys playing with toys and going for walks. Janet absolutely loves water and would love to go swimming in a pool! What a sweet and playful pooch she is! Story
Ronan is a 2-year-old mix of Lab and Hound! He weighs in at 50 pounds and still has some filling out to do! He wears a medium coat of black and white which he loves having stroked! Ronan is what we call a gentle giant; all about love, he likes to get it and then give it in return. Ronan does great with people and other dogs but prefers to stay away from cats! He is great on a leash and thinks he is a lap dog! Ronan would make a great family dog and is longing for his “furever” home. Will you open your heart for this cutie?
