Meet Nuba who is looking for a home. Nuba is a 4.5 year old mixed breed, full grown at a perfect 45 lbs. We think she may be a lab cross, with a gorgeous white coat, and beautiful markings to round out her unique look. She shares space with other dogs and enjoys playtime in the yard with them. Nuba is friendly and affectionate with shelter visitors with a lovely disposition. She is medium energy - with enough energy to keep up, but would also be grateful for some chill time to make up for missed cuddles. Mostly she would love her very own family. Nuba hasn't been tested extensively with cats. She sees them without reacting, but for now, we will seek a home without cats to be sure. While Nuba is lovely with people, she's not been specifically tested with kids. Nuba is spayed and vaccinated. She is missing some of her front teeth - likely a result of escaping shackles or surviving on street scraps. Abba is a 20 lb bundle of joy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Her foster says she may be the friendliest dog they’ve ever met! Abba was rescued as a tiny puppy on the outskirts of Puerto Vallarta, where she and her siblings were surviving by scavenging. Thanks to a kind rescuer, she’s spent her first year of life safe and cared for—and now is ready for her forever home. She’s playful, affectionate, and higher energy so is always ready for an adventure. She can be a little unsure around loud trucks and motorcycles as they trundle down the dirt road but otherwise she’s a happy, confident “mini lab” (best guess is Lab x Collie x Chihuahua mix). She is house trained, spayed and healthy. Abba lives with cats and dog and is very playful and affectionate with people and animals alike. You know how ABBA songs make you bounce with happiness - that's the vibe that Abba the pup gives. She is looking for foster, foster to adopt or adoption options. Hello, I’m Sebastian 🐾 A 3-year-old Labrador–Doberman mix, about 27 kilos of love, elegance, and joy. I’ve got the long, lean body of a Doberman and the warm, food-loving heart of a Labrador — truly the best of both worlds. My journey hasn’t always been easy. I spent too long in a city shelter and eventually found myself on the euthanasia list. Just in time, Dream Tails stepped in and gave me a second chance, bringing me to their training center — and now I’m ready for the next chapter of my life. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and communicate beautifully with them, showing my feelings clearly and setting boundaries in a calm, respectful way. I walk nicely on leash and don’t pull, making our walks something we can both enjoy. I’m often told I’m very handsome — but what truly sets me apart is my heart. I’m overflowing with love, and every bit of attention makes my heart feel like it might burst. I can’t wait to experience the comfort of a warm home and to finally feel safe with my forever family. Because I haven’t lived in a home before, I might show a little puppy mischief at first as I adjust. He had been left outside without proper food, water, or shelter. He was always hungry and had no place to protect himself from the rain or snow. Thankfully, one of our volunteers found him and stepped in to help. After some conversations, his former owner agreed to surrender him, and Kamsang was brought to our partner boarding house. Today, he is safe and well cared for, living peacefully with other dogs and finally knowing what it feels like to be full and warm. His difficult past has not taken away his kind heart. Personality and Socialization Kamsang is a bright, affectionate, and social boy. He loves people and is not shy about saying hello. Friendly and open, he enjoys human company and happily soaks up attention. His energy level is medium. He enjoys playtime and walks, but he is not overly demanding. With other dogs, Kamsang does best with calm and well mannered companions. He enjoys playing with dogs who are gentle and respectful. Very hyper, loud, or pushy dogs can make him uncomfortable. A peaceful dog friend with a sweet nature would be a lovely match. He would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. He has not met cats yet. With a slow and proper introduction, he may adjust well, but this would require patience and guidance. BehavioursKamsang is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Flora and her siblings are alive because a kind woman would go feed their pregnant mama who was living outside near a riverbank, shortly after being born there, mum and pups were taken to safety into the SPCA PV sanctuary. Now its time for them to find real families to love them. Flora is stunning with her sleek black coat, white socks and squirmy puppy body. Flora is healthy, vaccinated and ready to travel to her new home with flights available to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and less frequently to Vancouver island. We think Flora will grow to be about 55 - 60 lbs. Flora has been exposed to cat and is playful with dogs.
