Story
QUEENIE Age: 3 years Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Labrador Retriever Color: Black Weight: 28 kg Height: 58 cm (at the shoulder)   Rescue Story   Queenie was rescued from a municipal shelter in October 2024, just before euthanasia. She has been living in a private shelter for about a year and is now ready to finally experience life in a real home.   With People   Queenie is extremely affectionate and loves everyone she meets — both familiar faces and complete strangers. She happily rubs against people, seeks out touch, and enjoys being petted.   She is friendly with both women and men and does very well with children under 13. Once she feels comfortable, she will roll over and show her belly for rubs.   She can be picked up and handled with ease.   With Other Dogs   Queenie is a true social butterfly. She happily approaches both familiar and unfamiliar dogs to greet them and invite them to play.   She is gentle, friendly, and always wags her tail, even if another dog is rude or pushy. She tends to prefer dogs her size or smaller and avoids conflict.   With Cats   On walks, she may try to follow cats out of curiosity, but she responds well to redirection. Cat testing can be arranged.   Energy Level & Home Life   Queenie has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities and walks, but once she’s had exercise, she settles down nicely and relaxes indoors.   Walks & Training   At first, Queenie may pull on leash because she is excited to explore. With training and guidance, she learns to walk nicely and stay connected with her handler.   Because she is strong, she would do best with someone who has experience handling medium-to-large dogs.   She is currently an outdoor-potty dog.   Behavior & Manners   No food or toy guarding Rarely barks Calm in her kennel Gentle and friendly nature   She may bark briefly if she is left alone while other dogs are outside, simply because she wants to join them.   Ideal Home   Queenie would thrive in an active, loving home where she can enjoy companionship, walks, and plenty of affection — whether as an only dog or with other friendly dogs.   She is a wonderful family dog who brings joy, warmth, and love wherever she goes. Story
Hello, I’m Sebastian 🐾 A 3-year-old Labrador–Doberman mix, about 27 kilos of love, elegance, and joy. I’ve got the long, lean body of a Doberman and the warm, food-loving heart of a Labrador — truly the best of both worlds. My journey hasn’t always been easy. I spent too long in a city shelter and eventually found myself on the euthanasia list. Just in time, Dream Tails stepped in and gave me a second chance, bringing me to their training center — and now I’m ready for the next chapter of my life. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and communicate beautifully with them, showing my feelings clearly and setting boundaries in a calm, respectful way. I walk nicely on leash and don’t pull, making our walks something we can both enjoy. I’m often told I’m very handsome — but what truly sets me apart is my heart. I’m overflowing with love, and every bit of attention makes my heart feel like it might burst. I can’t wait to experience the comfort of a warm home and to finally feel safe with my forever family. Because I haven’t lived in a home before, I might show a little puppy mischief at first as I adjust. With patience, guidance, and understanding, I’ll settle in and thrive — I promise my love will make it all worth it. All I’m dreaming of is a family who will give me time, kindness, and cuddles… especially cozy moments on the sofa with my mommy and daddy. 🫶🏻 Could you be my forever family?

Story
Nala is a sweet and friendly 4-year-old girl who has been waiting far too long—she’s spent over two years at the shelter, hoping someone will finally see how special she is. Medium-sized and full of heart, Nala is social, affectionate, and always ready to greet you with a happy tail wag. She loves going for walks, spending time with people, and just being part of whatever you’re doing. Nala would thrive in a home where she gets the love, attention, and companionship she’s been missing for so long. After all this time, she truly deserves a second chance. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, consider Nala—she might just be your perfect match. This sweet dog is currently soaking up the sun in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, but is ready to fly north to join their forever family! While we can’t offer an in-person meet-and-greet, we’ll work with you every step of the way—and you’ll just need to meet them at the airport when they land, tail wagging and ready to love you!

Story
Meet Lucille, a 2 year old Labrador! Lucille was captured by urban management in November 2024. Back then she was skinny as bones and had a skin condition. Now she is all healed up and with a foster family. At her foster family's, Lucille has learned lots - she walks great on leash, loves to cuddle with her humans, and gets along great with other dogs! Lucille is just such a love bug! Lucille does have a slight condition - when she is overly excited or in a new environment, she will occasionally clatter her mouth. We have done testing on her but have found nothing wrong psychologically or physically. The doctors believe they are idiopathic tremors. She is currently on meds but condition has not worsen or improved. This will stay with Lucille her entire life, and may evolve into epilepsy in the worst case scenario. She is currently in China, but available to fly to you in the coming months. Please send us an email if you are interested in learning more about Lucille and our adoption process!

Story
Meet Nube who is looking for a home. Nube is a 4.5 year old mixed breed, full grown at a perfect 45 lbs. We think she may be a lab cross, with a gorgeous white coat, and beautiful markings to round out her unique look. She shares space with other dogs and enjoys playtime in the yard with them. Nube is friendly and affectionate with shelter visitors with a lovely disposition. She is medium energy - with enough energy to keep up, but would also be grateful for some chill time to make up for missed cuddles. Mostly she would love her very own family. Nube hasn't been tested extensively with cats. She sees them without reacting, but for now, we will seek a home without cats to be sure. While Nube is lovely with people, she's not been specifically tested with kids. Nube is spayed and vaccinated. She is missing some of her front teeth - likely a result of escaping shackles or surviving on street scraps. If you think you might be a fit for this beauty, as her chance at a forever home, or as a foster along the way, she'd love to hear from you at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com

Story
Young and beautiful – Vanilla is a labrador retriever (think mini lab) crossed perhaps with pointer, who was born in June 2025. She was taken in by a concerned neighbour who watched three young puppies suffer neglect on a property whose owner suffered from addiction issues. Vanilla was rescued with two other pups who are not her siblings, but they’ve grown up as one family. Vanilla is now in the care of the SPCA PV in Puerto Vallarta where she is now healthy, spayed and vaccinated. She would love a family of her very own. She is good with cats and dogs. She’d love a quiet home to adjust and begin to explore her new world. If you think you might be her happy ever after, or a soft foster landing spot to help her along the way, we’d love to hear from you pvcaadoptions@gmail.com
