Story
We adopted Maya 10 years ago from a shelter in Stanaslaus County. She was a run away and lost her family so we took her in as we wanted to get a dog for our two young boys at the time. 9 years ago, unfortunately my ex husband and I divorced and I got sole custody of the kids and Maya. She has been a great companion all these years. My life over those 9 years is now very different than when we first got her and she is now older and requires more companionship. My boys are now grown adults and not here so it is solely me taking care of her. I am still working full time and need to go into the office during the week. As she gets older, this is starting to bother her and she is developing separation anxiety. There is just no way I can be at home with her all the time and she is not happy. I would love to find a loving home with a family who can be home with her and interact with her often. She is a very sweet dog and has a lot more love to give.

Story
Cooper has been a great dog. He’ll be 6 years old in April. We got him as our family dog when he was a puppy. After a divorce, kids moving out, having to relocate and being busy with full time job I’m in the need to find cooper a new home. He is a great pet and is very loving, I think he’d be perfect for a family with younger children or someone who has the flexibility to work from home.

Story
Moose is a distinguished gentleman who brings joy to everyone he meets. This sweet, mellow boy is ready to trade in shelter life for a cozy spot in his forever home. If you’re searching for a calm, loyal companion who prefers quiet evenings over chaos, Moose just might be your perfect match! While he may choose relaxation over rowdy playtime, Moose still has so much love to give. He’s the kind of dog who will happily curl up beside you for a movie night, keep you company while you read, or simply enjoy a peaceful afternoon nap at your feet. And if you happen to have a tasty treat in hand, you’ll win him over in no time! In return, he promises a lifetime of devotion and gentle companionship. Moose values his independence and appreciates having his own space now and then. Because of this, we recommend that any children in the home are age 5 or older so they can understand and respect when he needs a little “me time.” He enjoys the company of other dogs but can be particular about sharing his space. If you already have a canine companion, we’ll require an introduction at the shelter to make sure everyone feels comfortable and compatible. Moose is ready to spend his golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and kindness. If you’re looking for a steady, snuggly best friend to complete your family, Moose is waiting to meet you!Adoption Price: $150
