If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. Story
Levi is a black lab and is about 9 months old. He is very sweet, smart and energetic. He can sit, wait, stay, lay down and fetch. He loves the water and will fetch in the water. He is also potty trained and fully vaccinated. He is great with kids, we have toddlers and he is great with them. We are only looking to re-home him as we found out shortly after getting him we were expecting another baby. Shortly after that my husband's job went from local to bing out of state 5 days a week. With toddlers and a new baby on the way, we are just not able to continue to give him the attention, training and care he needs. We are hoping to find a food home for him. We were truly wanting to made him an addition to our family, in this season however I simply can't manage. We paid for him from a family in our community and paid for all his vaccines (including rabies shot), food toys and kennel. We are asking a small adoption fee just to off set all the money we have already put into him.

Story
We rescued Rudy from our local shelter a few months ago. While he gets along with our other dog, he does not do well with our cat. He also loves and needs to be with his people and we have an extreme travel sports schedule as well as both my husband and I work. Our older son works as well as in school. Both of our boys play year round travel sports. We are out of the house way too much and he needs more attention than we can give him. He loves to cuddle, no food aggression, and potty trained but he needs a home where his owners are around more often than we are able to be.

Story
Meet Chula – the happiest tripod you’ll ever meet!Chula has been through a tough chapter in life, but you’d never know it from the way her tail wags nonstop. After an injury required her to have one front leg removed, this brave girl has adapted beautifully and is learning to conquer the world on three paws. Nothing slows her down—she’s curious, adventurous, and always ready for the next cuddle session.Chula adores affection and soaks up every bit of love she’s given (and might even climb into your lap if you let her!). She’s smart, treat-motivated, and already knows how to sit. With her sweet spirit, boundless energy, and big heart, Chula is ready to bring joy and love into a forever home.If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s full of resilience, kisses, and tail wags, Chula is your girl. Chula recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine.  She wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, she’ll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Story
Meet recent Good Mom Zelda ! This beautiful lady recently raised some puppies at the Shelter and is more than deserving for it to be all about Her. Zelda is a big gentle-natured Lab mix. When she was finally able to venture out, she was a little nervous (as would any Mom raising kids at the loud shelter). But as she is getting more used to getting out with the Volunteers, she is becoming more confident. She walks easily on leash, and doesn`t mind being brushed. Her eyes search yours, as if wanting to know that you have her best interests at heart. This lady deserves all the good things this world can offer her, and we hope someone will take the time to see her as the kind soul that she is. Please come meet sweet Zelda today, look into her eyes, and try not to fall in love :)Zelda has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home.
