He enjoys playing with toys, going outside to explore and being with people. Porter is going to make someone an awesome companion! Porter is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and healthy. It's pretty cold up here in CT so I really like laying on the floor heating vent or on a blanket at my foster's house. I like kids of all ages to play with and give my puppy kisses to! Looking Glass Animal Rescue is a 501c3 virtual rescue, using a network of dedicated fosters throughout Louisiana and the Northeast to care for our animals until adoption. You may be required to travel if approved for adoption. Sweet Buddy was discovered alongside his sibling in Texas, on the side of the road. Tragically, his sibling was involved in a car accident and did not survive. Despite this heartbreaking loss, Buddy remained steadfast by his sibling's side, honoring their memory for what may have been days until he was eventually rescued. Now, Buddy is in need of a loving forever home. This incredible pup is a young large breed mix, full of playfulness and affection. Currently located in CT, Buddy has shown to be excellent with dogs of all sizes. While his compatibility with cats is uncertain, he has demonstrated a friendly disposition towards people and children. Buddy is full of energy and enjoys an active lifestyle. He does not have any health concerns and may exhibit some jumping when excited, although not excessively. He is walks well on a leash, and is taken outside three times a day.
