   Meet Goldie Belle    Goldie Belle is a young 2-3 year old, 61 pound Doodle mix with a heart as tender as her beautiful, soulful eyes. No one knows how long she was on her own as a homeless girl wandering from house to house in a rural neighborhood — matted, hungry, and carrying a secret. Despite the odds stacked against her, she gave birth to her puppies and did her best to care for them, all while trying to survive herself.  At first, Goldie was shy and reserved, unsure if she could trust the people around her. But as neighbors fed her each day, her gentle spirit began to shine through. Goldie wants to love, to play, and to feel safe — she’s just waiting for the right family to give her that chance.   This sweet girl gets along well with other dogs, especially if they are friendly and kind. What Goldie Belle needs most is a calm, stable environment filled with consistency, patience, and love. Allow me to introduce myself… My name is Lovely Loretta, and yes—I really live up to my name. I’m an elegant, affectionate 7–8-month-old girl with the softest golden coat and a heart that just bursts with love. My mom is a Great Pyrenees mix and my dad is a Hound/Lab mix, yet somehow I came out looking like a sunny Yellow Lab. Life works in funny, wonderful ways! I’m about 48 pounds right now—your classic adorable “teenage pup”—and I’ll likely grow into a graceful 60-ish pound adult. For now, I’m all gentle wiggles, soft eyes, and the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. I adore people. I adore dogs. And I’m even respectful around cats. I just love life—every moment, every friend, every chance to be close to someone who cares. I walk beautifully on a leash, I play kindly with dogs and humans, and I truly want nothing more than to be someone’s loyal girl. I’m still healing from having my dewclaws removed, but that hasn’t changed my happy, grateful spirit one bit. I came from a very rural area of Tennessee, part of an unexpected litter from a mama who was never given the chance to be spayed. Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in to make sure my story didn’t end where it started—and now I’m dreaming big. This handsome boy is called Archie and he is a Labradoodle male that is just 1 year old, 38 pounds (very underweight)  and despite the abandonment that he just experienced in the early months of his life, he is happy and engaged with the world in every positive way.  He recently what no dog needs to experience.  He was thrown over a fence by his owner, into a yard next door to where his owner lived.   Then the man just disappeared with no word to anyone and not even to his landlord.  He just left town.  He was cited by animal control after a report of Archie's poor living conditions and emaciated appearance.   Meet Beauregard (Beau ) &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Some dogs are born with a purpose, but they never get the chance to discover it until someone believes in them. Beauregard is one of those dogs.   This Lab/Hound mix boy was found abandoned on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Middle Tennessee—hungry, covered in fleas and ticks, scarred from hardship, and too terrified to accept a gentle human touch. He had all but given up on life, surviving only on scraps of food and little more. Beau's story didn’t end there. Caring rescuers saw beyond his broken, skinny body and haunting eyes. With Critter Cavalry Rescue’s help, Beau was trapped, treated by a vet and given the first real chance of a good and loving future in his young life. Less than a year old and painfully thin,  Beau has since grown into a healthy, strong 75-pound boy with a heart that’s slowly learning how to trust and love again.   His foster mom, Cissy, describes his journey best:  “When Beau first arrived, he wouldn’t come out of his doghouse or look at me. But little by little, food, fresh water, and the happy barks of my other dogs began to chip away at his fear. The first time he took a treat from my hand, I knew he was beginning to understand love. Now Beau is part of our pack—he follows me around the farm, plays with the other dogs, and even helps encourage new rescues to run and play, just as others once taught him. He still has moments of fear with new people or the leash, but his confidence grows every single day. Watching him blossom has been nothing short of amazing.”    Beauregard’s scars—both inside and out—are healing, and his purpose is becoming clear that he is going to be a loyal, loving companion. He didn’t have the best start since he was originally dumped at the Agriculture School in Nashville, TN and left to run scared through traffic on a hot day. Thankfully, a kind foster mom earned his trust, and now Riggs is thriving in foster care and looking for the home he truly deserves &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143.   This boy is full of energy and a twinkle in his eye when he tries to find a good rumble play partner in the backyard.   This boy is a handsome male that is begging to be taught all the good manners in life.  Some boundaries created and training sessions that will polish him into the smart and enviable companion that he has the potential to be. This amazing puppy that has the beautiful golden smile and coat of a golden color as well, is called Gabriel.  Living his first 4 months of life in a 10X 10 outdoor kennel with his other 6 siblings, this boy never has had a chance to run and play and be loved on until August 15th.  The day his life changed and that of his 6 siblings, will be a special one for Critter Cavalry Rescue.   Their hard and cruel past is behind them and now a bright and shiny future is promised them as CCR starts posting all the wonderful girls and boys that are from that litter.  They are loving, some shyer than others, but all are hungry to be cuddled, played with and offered the chance to love their humans deeply and forever.   Having a yard to run and play in has been a first ever since 8/15.  Can you imagine the freedom and exhilaration that our boy Gabriel has been feeling?  He has a little foster girl to kiss and play with and other dogs and even some chickens in the backyard.  He has been neutered and shots started and dewormings under way.  The road ahead will be a breeze compared to his first 4 months.  Currently he weighs 25 pounds and is destined to be a 55 pound adult lovebug.  If you love his smile then you will love his heart even more.  Friendly and learning all the new things about this wonderful world of good food, a dog bed, chew toys and above all, humans who care about him.  What more could make a puppy happier?  Well all that is left to top these great changes is to have a family adopt him!!!!   Could that be you!?  Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  We adopt locally in Nashville, TN area where he is fostered and we also offer transportation to the northeast to families and homes that want to give our dogs and cats a better life.  Just let us know where you live!  We can get our boy there and close! This amazing puppy that has the beautiful golden smile and coat of a golden color as well, is called Gabriel.  Living his first 4 months of life in a 10X 10 outdoor kennel with his other 6 siblings, this boy never has had a chance to run and play and be loved on until August 15th.  The day his life changed and that of his 6 siblings, will be a special one for Critter Cavalry Rescue.   Their hard and cruel past is behind them and now a bright and shiny future is promised them as CCR starts posting all the wonderful girls and boys that are from that litter.  They are loving, some shyer than others, but all are hungry to be cuddled, played with and offered the chance to love their humans deeply and forever.   Having a yard to run and play in has been a first ever since 8/15.  Can you imagine the freedom and exhilaration that our boy Gabriel has been feeling?  He has a little foster girl to kiss and play with and other dogs and even some chickens in the backyard.  He has been neutered and shots started and dewormings under way.  The road ahead will be a breeze compared to his first 4 months.  Currently he weighs 25 pounds and is destined to be a 55 pound adult lovebug.  If you love his smile then you will love his heart even more.  Friendly and learning all the new things about this wonderful world of good food, a dog bed, chew toys and above all, humans who care about him.  What more could make a puppy happier?  Well all that is left to top these great changes is to have a family adopt him!!!!   Could that be you!?  Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  We adopt locally in Nashville, TN area where he is fostered and we also offer transportation to the northeast to families and homes that want to give our dogs and cats a better life.  Just let us know where you live!  We can get our boy there and close! Raised from a puppy by his current family, Jasper has been deeply loved, but as life has grown busier and noisier around him, he’s shown us that what he truly craves is peace, calm, and a more serene environment. Jasper is a wonderful boy who loves the simple joys of life—long walks on leash, fun play sessions at the dog park, and spending time with his people. He’s great with other dogs, both at home and out in social settings, and would likely thrive with a friendly canine companion to share his days with.   What Jasper needs most is a quieter household, ideally an adult home or one with older teens, where he can relax without constant sudden noises or stress. Inside, he’s housetrained, well-mannered, and happiest in a calm space where he can simply enjoy being with his humans. Outside, he’s active, playful, and always ready for a little adventure.
