My wife does not want him in the house because he has shown agressive on only one occasion to my wife after we got a golden retriever puppy. I travel weekly out of town. Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Katy Perry, a 3- to 4-year-old, 49 lb. possible Labrador Retriever mix. She may be a bit shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she's a lover girl and is a bundle of energy. She gets along with all people including kids. She's great walking on leash and loves going for daily walks. She is house trained and is crate trained. She enjoys chew toys especially Benebones. It's so cute to watch her choose a toy out of the toy chest and play with it. She loves being outside but prefers the shady parts of the yard. Katy knows commands like sit and no, showing off her smart side. And let's not forget two of her favorite things - belly rubs and chasing squirrels! This playful girl also gets the zoomies when playing with her foster brother outside. We prefer for her to have a fur sibling around her size in her forever home to play with. We haven't seen Katy around cats while with our rescues. She is a low barker, is moderate to high energy and we are requiring a secure fenced-in yard for her to run and play in. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and well-behaved companion, Katy Perry is your gal. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe that you are the perfect match for Katy, complete an app and tell us more about you. May 5, 2024, 10:17 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application 9 month old Buddy is probably the easiest dog I've had the honor of fostering. He's so easy going and mature for his age - at least  Most of the time! He's already housebroken as long as you take him out in a reasonable amount of time, doesnt jump up on you or the furniture. and doesn't bark unless he's trying to get your or his other 4 legged friends to play. He has spurts of energy when he'd Love someone his size to play with, and could get on the nerves of an older dog that doesn't like that, but mostly just chills. He'll follow you around, wants your attention and is a lovebug! He loves his food but takes treats gently and has no food aggression or any type of mean bone in his body. Buddy learns quick and is very smart, though he can be a little stubborn when he wants something you'd rather he didn't have - like your shoes. He definitely likes shoes....and gives away his age by wanting to steal and chew things other than his toys - and will do it right in front of you :). Still being a puppy, he may knock a small child over but certainly not on purpose. He loves Everyone and would love to meet You!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 29, 2024, 2:03 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me!    Lilou is thought to be a 5-7 yr old shepherd lab mix. She weighs about 42 lbs and will be spayed on April 24th. She has cerebeller abiotrophy which has been stable but does cause her balance issues. Lilou falls, but she always gets right back up. She will do great in a home with someone who has time and patience. If the household is calm, then she stays calm and walks really well.  She can get excited playing with other dogs and tends to fall more while trying to play with them.  Lilou likes to be around other dogs, but would be fine being the only dog in the house too.  She will keep you company while she lays next to you on her favorite bed.  She can’t get on furniture which is nice for some people.  She’s not a lap dog or a snuggle bug, but she loves to be massaged and pet.  Soft spoken words of encouragement help her, lots of patience mixed with lots of love goes along way with her.  She likes treats and she will occasionally play with toys when she’s feeling frisky. She is house trained and does well being left to roam freely in the house.  She does not do well at all in a crate environment since she’s been spoiled enjoying her freedom.  She takes a bit to warm up to some people and dogs at first, but quickly is accepting of everyone.  Lilou will follow you to every room of the house with carpet or runners down.  She does best with carpet. She turns into “Bambi on ice” with bare floors.  Lilou likes short slow walks around the yard or down the block and back.  The heat is not her friend, possibly due to her condition.  She will sunbath for a short bit and then she likes to go inside and nap in the A/C. She can be a very independent gal, who is “street smart”, resilient, and even strong willed at times. But she had to be when she lived on her own on the streets in the Bahamas before she was rescued by her hero, Chella, who many of you may follow on social media. She made sure she could come to the US for care and get an opportunity for the best life. Lilou is overall a very happy and very sweet girl who just needs to find her forever home.  We prefer she go to an all-adult home, or if the home has kids, that they be teens and respectful of her challenges. Her home must be a single story and no open pool. Lilou is available for a foster, foster to adopt, or adoption. Please see video links below so you can see how Lilou walks and runs.  If you think you have the perfect home for Lilou, and you live in Florida, please complete an application and tell us more about your family.  https://youtu.be/MDEwsEPmf_k https://youtu.be/Atv1_8n70ng https://youtu.be/UrOO9KSSvSA https://youtu.be/U6uixunYelg  May 5, 2024, 10:17 pm

Story
Molly is getting to be an older dog at 9 years old. She is quirky. She rarely cuddles but when she does, she likes to lay on top of you--most of the time she just sits close to you. Be ready for her to jump up and give you a hug every time you come home. She is very kind to people. She wants everyone to be her best friend. She is not good with small children or other dogs. Preferred applicants are couples or families with older children, who can take her on walks daily and give her lots of loving throughout the day. We discourage anyone to apply if they plan to leave Molly alone for most of the day.

Story
Athena is an amazing, loving, highly intelligent dog. However, she was abused when she was younger before we adopted her when she was roughly 18 months old. She has always shown little to mild aggression toward other dogs and was our second re. She is very well trained and gets obsessed and attached very quickly. She is high octane and high energy when she is outside and allowed to run and roam. Over the past 3 years she has gotten less patient and more aggressive with our other dogs so she will need to be an only dog with a yard or property to run. She is completely fine 75% of the time but just gets irritated easily and does go after the other dogs. Strange dogs she does NOT get along with at all whatsoever. Years of training has not changed this. Unfortunately, we are unable to rent most places and have her at any dog parks or anywhere there are other dogs because she does not tolerate it at all. Other than this issue, she is the best and most loyal dog I’ve ever had.

Story
Max is a 3 year old Lab/Border Collie mix. He is housebroken, crate trained and great with kids of all ages - even toddlers. He is very happy and bouncy and eager to meet other dogs - he would do best with a tolerant, playful other dog and slow introductions. He has never been introduced to cats. He is a great family dog that would do best with an active family and a nice yard.  He is neutered, current on vaccines. Adoption fee $150 ##1989391##

Story
His name is Riley his is 6 years old. I am fostering him because my sister did not have enough money to take care of him but I am disabled and it is really hard for me to take him out on walks which is why I have to find a home for him as soon as possible. He is a registered ESA, he also knows how to calm panic attacks as well as deep pressure therapy for PTSD. He knows and listens to commands like sit, stay, lay, scoot, and move. He is highly trainable and just a big love bug, amazing with kids and other dogs. His favorite thing to do is make friends!

Story
Beto and Pantera have a magical rescue story and need a happy ending together in a special home for the holidays!!! This is their story told by Robin who brought them from Costa Rica. This is the post: Dogs Beto and his sister, Pantera, adopted us in Costa Rica a year ago. They were both skin and bones and he was covered in mange. Beto and Pantera are wonderful dogs and we love them. There are a lot of homeless, hungry dogs in Costa Rica. We would not let them stay there to starve. As we are now retired, this is our long awaited opportunity to travel. Since we will be traveling throughout Europe, Beto and Pantera need and deserve a real home. We have traveled with them around the U.S. the past several months. They have done amazingly well living in different hotel rooms every week with us. Since we don’t have a home in the US, it’s been disorienting for them. We know that they need a stable, loving forever home. Beto and Pantera love to run around and play with each other. They are such affectionate dogs and very family friendly. Adults and children love them. Beto is a 45-pound Pointer mix and Pantera is a 25-pound Dachshund mix. The Vet believes that they are 3 or 4 years old. They have been constant companions their entire lives so it would be great if they could stay together. They are both fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered and house trained. Thankfully, they are also completely respectful of property. They have never bothered anything in our many stays in hotels over the past few months. Please call us. Gratefully, Robin & Tom Robin (805)796-8201 Or 321-377-8166

Story
Apply to Adopt Me!     Milo is a sweet funny gentle pup. He is almost a year old and 50 pounds. He has come a long way from when we first met him.  He was afraid of everything - literally everything! Anything dealing with outside (vehicles, airplanes, lawn mowers, bicycles). It’s been a very slow process with him building trust with us and confidence within himself, but he has come so far and I know he will continue to flourish with the right home; one that offers love, attention and patience. Since having Milo, we’ve learned, he is not an Alpha dog, but loves playing with other dogs and does amazing when following their lead. He enjoys snuggles, hugs, kisses and has come a long way with walks (even though getting his leash on can still be a little process). He has gotten better with car rides and loves the beach! He does fine in the crate, but prefers when you’re home. He isn’t the biggest fan of squeaky/loud toys, but does love a good rope and chewing bones. He does great with being groomed. He’s never shown aggression and does well with children, people and doesn’t seem to have an interest in cats. He has mastered using pee pads, but is working on potty training. He does well when let out often. And please look at his videos at the following links... what a sweet boy!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLSpz0b17tg   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YCkvUxjaXc   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8fJOya5UKY   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBfcUfFJ1gA If you live in the central Florida/Orlando area, have a fenced back yard, and another dog who will be a good buddy to Milo please send in an application and let us know more about your family. May 5, 2024, 10:17 pm
