Story
Ninja is a 4 year old lab mix gentle soul. When he needs to use the restroom he will sit next to the door. If he needs more water or food he touches your hand with his cold nose. He takes time to warm up to people but he will become your best friend if you play ball with him and give him treats then he will open up and want you to pet him a lot and he'll stay by your side. He loves the outdoors, car rides, and bubbles. He is not leash trained. It also takes time for him to get used to the new house noises. He deserves a home where he will get played with a lot and receive better care. We would never give him away if it wasn't for medical issues at home because he is literally the best dog I ever had. I'm giving him away for free because I don't care for the money, I just want Ninja to be happy.

Story
This gorgeous boy had a tough start to life—he and his littermates were abandoned by their mother at just 3 weeks old and found huddled under a shed. Since then, we’ve lovingly cared for them, provided training, and made sure they’re healthy, happy, and ready for forever families. Now, this amazing pup is looking for the loving home he truly deserves. He’s healthy, up to date on veterinary care, and won’t need any shots until next year. Vet records and receipts will be provided at adoption. Why you’ll love him: Resilient and loving—he’s overcome a rough beginning and blossomed into a wonderful boy. Healthy, vetted, and ready to join your family. Smart, trainable, and eager to please. Adoption requirements: Because of his breed and energy needs, we cannot adopt him into an apartment. A home with a yard where he can play and thrive is required. Rental homes must show written proof that bully breeds—are allowed. Home checks and landlord/mortgage verification will be completed.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yes, our beautiful Rosie likes cats!    Rosie was adopted and returned to PRBJ when her owner was unable to provide the right kind of enviornment to thrive in. Her owner originally was working from home which was perfect, but when she was needed in the office a few days a week, Rosie could not handle being left alone.  Unfortunately, Rosie does have severe seperation anxiety, and even with medication, was unable to handle being left alone. Rosie is not fond of dogs but she does like cats Potential adopters, please keep in mind that Rosie can easily jump a 6-foot fence if she is left alone. If you do have a fenced-in back yard you will need to supervise her at all times when she is out there playing. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:52 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Princess — a sweet lab mix looking for a quiet forever home    Princess’s story: Princess was sadly abandoned in an apartment, but a kind Good Samaritan fed and cared for her until we could help. She arrived at Pet Rescue By Judy in rough shape — desperate for veterinary attention. She was immediately taken to Healthy Pets, where Dr. Pinzon and his team put together a treatment plan for severe flea dermatitis and related skin infections. Princess is healing, feeling better every day, and ready to spend her golden years in a calm, loving home.  What Princess is like  Gentle and people-loving — she truly adores human attention. Enjoys quiet companionship and calm routines. Not a fan of other dogs or puppies (we tested her with both — it’s a no-go), so she must be the only pet in the household. Best in an adult-only home or a home with older children where she can enjoy a peaceful retirement.  Medical status  Received immediate veterinary care at Healthy Pets under Dr. Pinzon’s treatment plan. Currently doing well and on the mend from severe flea dermatitis and skin infections. (Ongoing vet follow-up as recommended by Healthy Pets.)    Ideal adopter  You’ll be a patient, loving person or family who:   Can give Princess one-pet-only attention and a calm environment. Prefers a quieter household (adults or older children). Is ready to provide gentle, consistent care as she continues to enjoy her golden years.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:52 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Fish – Our Little Lake Survivor  Fish has quite the story to tell! This sweet boy came to Pet Rescue By Judy after being found swimming out in the middle of a lake. A kind person who was out fishing spotted him and wasn’t sure how long he had been in the water. By the time he was pulled to safety, Fish was completely exhausted — but so incredibly thankful to be rescued.  When he was found, it appeared he may have had injuries consistent with being hit by a car or something similar. He was immediately rushed to Healthy Pets, where Dr. Pinzon and his amazing team cared for him for several weeks, making sure he received the treatment and support he needed to heal. After that, Fish visited The Animal Cracker / ChiroFit, where Dr. Dana provided much-needed chiropractic adjustments to help him feel his very best.  Thanks to the dedication of his medical team and the love of our volunteers, Fish is now feeling great and ready to find his forever home!  What Fish Loves  Running around in a fenced yard Laying in the sun and soaking up the warmth Meeting new people and dogs Exploring new places   One of our volunteers recently took Fish out for an adventure, and here’s what they had to say:  “He’s such a good boy! Loves saying hello to people and dogs. Walks extremely well on leash — no pulling. So sweet and curious. Did well downtown with noises and people. We found some stairs at buildings along the lake so we did some of those :)) Fish did great!”  Fish is social, confident, and curious about the world around him. He handles new environments like a champ and has wonderful leash manners, making him a fantastic companion for walks, outings, and everyday adventures.  After everything he’s been through, Fish deserves a safe, loving home where he’ll never have to struggle alone again. If you’re looking for a resilient, sweet, and friendly pup who will greet you with joy every single day, Fish may be the perfect catch for your family  Important Information for New Puppy Parents   Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential.   We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.   **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:52 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Duke –  Ready for His Next Chapter Formerly known as Thunder, Duke was originally adopted from Pet Rescue by Judy five years ago. Life was good with his loving family — until unexpected health issues meant they had to make the heartbreaking decision to return him to us. Now, Duke is once again looking for a forever home where he can continue being the loyal, affectionate dog he’s always been.    About Duke:   Housebroken and crate trained – he knows the rules and loves routine. MUST be the ONLY dog in the home Stong on leash,  — he’ll need an owner who can confidently handle his size. A playful pup at heart, he enjoys daily walks, yard time, and being part of the action. Currently managing a thyroid condition — all it takes is a simple medication (just two tablets a day) to keep him healthy and feeling his best. He has completed his weightloss journey but he  will need a dedicated adopter who can help keep him active and on track.    Due to his size and his limited time with children we are recommending an adult only home or one with older teens.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:52 am
