Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Resident since January 2021 Hey There!  They call me Bruce and tell me what a good and beautiful boy I am!  I love to snuggle and be a couch potato. I graduated from a training camp where I spent 10 weeks learning many different commands and losing the many extra pounds I had. I am still a big guy, but now I have a great physique. I am hoping for an active family to help me continue my training.  Because I am a larger dog, it is recommended that my new home has no or older kids. I DO NOT like cats!! Honestly, I don't understand why a person wants a fuzz ball that wants to be left alone when they could have a super sweet boy like me that wants to play and hang out with you. I am selective when it comes to other dogs. If there is another dog, it would probably be better to be a large, submissive dog.  It is not that I want to be the boss; I just don't like being bossed around. So, if you would like to adopt me you know the deal...please fill out the adoption application for me (link is right here on my page).  =================================================== Note:Bruce graduated from the Training camp and has learned so much from it to help him become a great addition to your family. About Training Camp: Pet Rescue By Judy has teamed up with an incredible program called the  Greyhound Advancement Center  which will allow some of our dogs to attend a ten-week prison training program. The program originally started to help retired racing greyhounds learn how to “dog”. Greyhound racing is now illegal in our state, but the program worked so well that they decided to open up to other rescues and accept different breeds. Each dog is teamed up with an inmate who is in their dog training program. This program allows inmates to gain an important skill that they can bring with them when they are released. The head trainers are the best of the best and we are sure that these dogs are going to come out of this program with all kinds of tricks up their little doggy sleeves. (Don’t worry, the dogs are treated very well and are the apple of their trainer’s eye ). Our dogs are so blessed to be able to learn important obedience training to help with their confidence and make them awesome additions to a family. We can not thank Greyhound Advancement Center enough for giving these dogs a leg up on getting into their forever home!        Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 9:44 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.           Sweet Girl Waiting for Her Home since May 17, 2022Simply sensational Sabrina is a sweet, BEAUTIFUL, and super smart girl who is excited for a home to call her own. She is potty trained and knows all kinds of commands. Her previous owner spent a lot of time working with Sabrina and taught her as much as she could. Sabrina absolutely loves people and does wonderfully inside of the house. She loves to be around people and will follow you around the house and smother you with kisses if you let her! She does not have to be crated as she just lounges even when she is left alone. Sabrina prefers to be the only pet in her home so that she can soak up all the love from her humans. She is a strong (and strong-willed) dog. Sabrina is NOT the type of dog that you could allow to run around in your backyard without your supervision. Her curiosity tends to lead her either over or under the fence! If you have a fenced-in backyard the fence must be a solid fence (not one that you can see through) to prevent Sabrina from seeing something she wants to chase.  If you would like to meet this beautiful girl, please fill out an application on our website!   This dog is fabulous!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 9:44 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Resident since December 2022Sweetie Pie is a playful doggie that is a joy to watch.  She is a such a sweetheart.  In fact her prior owner stated “ she is what her name denotes ... a sweetie pie.” Sweetie Pie does not get along with every dog she meets but if they are not aggressive or dominate she enjoys playing.  Sweetie has several dogs at the rescue that she goes out with.  And while at camp she did well with KitKat and Moose.    This energetic cutie that loves her humans so much also needs a 6-foot fenced backyard to allow a safe place for her to play and use up her energy.  Do you garden and plant flowers?   If so, she would be great help as she likes to dig holes for you!!     Please submit an application to come and meet Sweetie Pie.  About Training Camp:Pet Rescue By Judy has teamed up with an incredible program called the  Greyhound Advancement Center  which will allow some of our dogs to attend a ten-week prison training program. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Buddy is a friendly boy that came to PRBJ from a high kill shelter. He is a strong dog that enjoys walks but needs training to help with his pulling.   Buddy does not like to be crated and will put up a bit of a protest to get in, but once there he is okay until the door opens. Once the door opens he springs for the freedom. He is playful and seems to be dog selective here at the center, yet away from the center, he seems to do well with most dogs.  We will continue to assess his interactions with other dogs here/outside center. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 9:44 pm
