Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Fairmont – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making   Fairmont is a spunky little guy with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! This active pup is always ready to go—whether it’s playtime in the yard, a walk around the neighborhood, or tagging along on your next adventure. Fairmont arrived at Pet Rescue By Judy with his three brothers after being transferred from an overcrowded rescue, all in hopes of finding loving forever homes. While we don’t know their exact breed mix, we expect Fairbanks to grow into a medium-sized dog, likely around 30-40 pounds when fully grown. With his playful energy and curious nature, Fairbanks will thrive in a home that can keep up with his enthusiasm for life. He would do best with an active individual or family who can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and, of course, lots of love. A fenced backyard is preferred for this litter. Important Information for New Puppy Parents Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential. We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning. **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 27, 2026, 1:18 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Neo – Your Future Best Friend!  D4D update:  Neo went to the beach, played in the sand, and checked out the water. Taken shopping to get toys and doggy ice cream.  Neo’s journey began in Puerto Rico, where he was found on the streets all on his own. Thankfully, through our amazing rescue partners, he made his way to Pet Rescue By Judy in search of something he’s never truly had before—a loving, forever home.  While Neo’s exact breed mix is a bit of a mystery, we believe he may have some Labrador in him. Without any known parents or siblings, his story is one of resilience and independence—but now, he’s ready to write a new chapter filled with love, comfort, and companionship. Neo is a playful, energetic pup who is always ready for fun! Whether it’s going for walks, playing in the yard, or simply spending time with his people, Neo brings enthusiasm and joy to everything he does. His happy spirit is contagious, and he’s sure to keep his future family smiling. Because of his energy level, Neo would thrive in an active home that can give him plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. In return, he’ll give you endless love, loyalty, and companionship.   Important Information for New Puppy Parents   Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet JoyJoy, and companion, SKY, came to PRBJ from a partnering rescue group in  Puerto Rico. Since these sweet pups were found on their own living in the streets no one knows what they have experienced.  They were living in a foster home in PR for a short time before they took their flight to FL.  So being with humans caring for them is newer and Joy still is nervous when meeting people or being in new situations. She will need a patient owner to help her feel safe.  We believe she would do well in a home with another confident dog to show her the ropes and help her understand what it is like to be part of a family.  Joy does seem to be more outgoing when she has her sister or another friendly pup to hang out with and play.  She is more comfortable around women vs men. She does seem to like children although she does not really respond well to the loud sounds like screaming and yelling.      Important Information for New Puppy Parents  Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rosie! This bio was written by a family that fostered Rosie for a couple weeks however the 3 cats in the home were not so happy with the new guest.Rosie is an active and affectionate companion who loves playing tug, going for runs, and splashing in natural waterways. While she is an older dog, she has plenty of energy and focus for training. She is highly toy-motivated and moderately food-motivated. Rosie truly loves her people; she will follow you from room to room and always greets you with a goofy smile. To ensure Rosie succeeds in her new home, there are a few important considerations:  - Supervision: She is capable of jumping a six-foot fence and requires supervision when in the backyard.  - Environment: She would do best as the only pet. While she can appear neutral around other animals, she struggles with confrontation.  - Support: Rosie deals with separation anxiety and an aversion to thunder. She needs a patient owner who can provide structure and continue working on these challenges. In my personal experience with Rosie, I have found her 'issues' to be quite manageable with time and practice. For example, by playing thunder noises during treat times, we were able to reduce her anxiety attacks from 30 minutes down to just five. She does excellently with car rides and leash walking, and she will even politely let you know when it is time for dinner.Rosie has been waiting for her forever home for some time now. She is a sweet, loving girl who just needs the right person or family to give her a chance to shine.Rosie is a sweet and loyal dog seeking her forever home.Rosie is a high-energy, older dog who loves running, swimming, and playing tug. She is toy and food-motivated, making her highly responsive to training. Due to her ability to jump 6-foot fences, she requires supervised outdoor time. While she experiences separation anxiety and thunder aversion, these are manageable; desensitization training has already reduced her storm-related anxiety from 30 minutes to five.Rosie is affectionate, enjoys car rides, and walks well on a leash. She would thrive as the only pet in a structured environment with a present and patient owner.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 27, 2026, 1:18 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Duke –  Ready for His Next Chapter Formerly known as Thunder, Duke was originally adopted from Pet Rescue by Judy five years ago. Life was good with his loving family — until unexpected health issues meant they had to make the heartbreaking decision to return him to us. Now, Duke is once again looking for a forever home where he can continue being the loyal, affectionate dog he’s always been.    About Duke:   Housebroken and crate trained – he knows the rules and loves routine. MUST be the ONLY dog in the home Stong on leash,  — he’ll need an owner who can confidently handle his size. A playful pup at heart, he enjoys daily walks, yard time, and being part of the action. Currently managing a thyroid condition — all it takes is a simple medication (just two tablets a day) to keep him healthy and feeling his best. He has completed his weightloss journey but he  will need a dedicated adopter who can help keep him active and on track.    Due to his size and his limited time with children we are recommending an adult only home or one with older teens.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 27, 2026, 1:18 pm
