Story
Buckley is a 7 year-old lab / pitbull mix. He’s the sweetest, most friendly dog and gets along well with all dogs, humans (including kids / babies) and even cats. Buckley has a larger than life personality and loves being the center of attention. He loves toys, going on walks, and cuddling with his people. Due to recent changes in our personal life, we think Buckley will be happier in a home that can continue to keep up with his energetic life style and give him the attention this sweet boy deserves. While this has been such a tough decision for us, we really want him to be somewhere where he is thriving and happy.

Story
We adopted Darky from the humane Society almost 1.5 years ago. They warned us he has behavior issues. Mainly he cannot get along with other dogs. We never planned on getting a second dog so we didn’t think it would be an issue. We live in a small apartment. When Darky gets the zoomies he runs all over literally bouncing off the walls. I wish we had a yard. We’ve tried taking them to the dog park. But we have to leave if another dog shows up. If he ever sees another dog, he flips out. I’m the only one who can take him on walks. I’m the only one who’s strong enough. My wife has gotten hurt many times trying to take him on walks, and he can literally drag my son. He acts like a great wonderful dog until he sees another dog, and then you better be ready for it because he flips out. When we’re in the apartment and it’s just us and him. He’s wonderful. He’s quiet and very well potty trained. I wish I could get a house. And a yard for him. But I’m still several years, off from that.

Story
Titan’s Compatibility:Dogs - Has lived with another dog and would enjoy a meet & greetCats - Best without catsKids - Teens 16+ would be the best fitTitan is a big, happy dog who brings a lot of energy into a room. He came to the shelter because of housing changes, not because he did anything wrong. When meeting new adults, Titan has been friendly and sweet, and he clearly enjoys attention from people who are comfortable with a young, active dog. He’s very affectionate. He enjoys snuggling up next to you or in your lap, often requesting a belly rub. He clearly finds comfort in people, as he loves to be hugged and held close. Titan likes to carry a toy in his mouth while he walks, and he especially appreciates if you also hold onto the toy while you walk together. It’s like his version of holding hands with you!Titan likes to stay busy and do things with his people. He enjoys being outside, playing, and learning. He has had some training and would do well with someone who wants to keep building on that and help him settle into a routine. He knows sit, lay down and shake, and he’s a pro at navigating our obstacle course. Titan has lived with another dog before and did well, and we are happy to do meet & greets to make sure everyone feels comfortable.Titan would do best in a home with teens or adults who are ready for an active companion and can offer structure and guidance. If you are looking for a fun, affectionate dog who wants to be part of your daily life, Titan is ready to meet you.

Story
Luna Selene’s Compatibility:Dogs - Lived with dogs and has done wellCats - I prefer a feline free home!Kids - YesLuna Selene is the kind of dog who likes to stay close and be part of whatever is going on. If you move through the house, she is right there with you. If you sit down, she is already nearby like she expected that to be the plan. She is social, affectionate, and happiest when she gets to share everyday life with her people. She is housebroken and knows her home routine. She does best in a steady, predictable home where she can settle in and understand how the day flows. Once she feels comfortable, she relaxes in and shows her easygoing, people focused side. And here`s a fun discovery: Luna Selene is a water dog! She got her paws on a baby pool recently and had the absolute time of her life splashing around. If your summer plans include a sprinkler, a kiddie pool, or a lake day, she is fully on board.Luna Selene is not a background dog. She wants to be included, she wants to connect, and she wants to be near her people. In the right home, she is affectionate, social, and very tuned into her family.

Story
Archie`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - Prefers a feline-free homeKids - 16+Archie is a big, silly Lab mix who’s bursting with love and puppy energy. He’s 67 pounds of joy, goofiness, and “look what I can do!” energy. At just over a year old, Archie is still figuring out how to be a grown-up dog, and he’s doing a great job! He’s friendly, playful, and always ready to make new friends. Like most young retrievers, Archie would love a home where he can get plenty of playtime, walks, and gentle guidance as he learns. He already knows sit and has been working hard on polite mealtime manners, leave it, and trading for treats. What a smart boy!Archie can get excited and forget his manners sometimes, but that’s just part of being a young dog with a big heart and a busy brain. He’ll do best with someone who sees training as a fun way to bond, build trust, and help him shine. Archie will do best in a home with kids 16 and up, where everyone can understand his space around meals and special items while he keeps learning.Archie is such a sweet boy, and he’s ready for someone to help him become the amazing dog he’s meant to be. He’s got the happy heart, the good looks, and all that retriever charm. Now he just needs his person to root for him!

Story
This sweet boy came from a home that simply had too many dogs and not enough room for them all. I took him in to foster him until a forever family could be found. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints I had to move to a very small apartment and they do not allow a dog this size. Nor it is conducive to his size. He is an incredible dog. He’s amazing with kids and would make the perfect addition to a family. He’s gentle, loving, and just wants to be around his people. He’s also wonderful with cats—in fact, when I was bottle-feeding a tiny kitten, he was so gentle and protective with it. The two of them became best friends. He also is great around other dogs. He deserves a home where he’ll be loved as much as he’ll love you. Let’s find this good boy the happy ending he deserves.

Story
Koji came into our lives when we were young, and he has been an incredible companion ever since. As we’ve grown into our 20s, with demanding work schedules and the realities of adult life, we’ve had to be honest with ourselves Koji deserves more than we’re currently able to give him . He used to go everywhere with us, but as he’s gotten bigger, that’s become less practical. These days he spends most of his time at home, with walks here and there, and that simply isn’t enough for a dog with his energy and heart. Koji is 2 years old, full of life, and loves to run and play. He knows basic commands sit, lay, down, and here . he’s deeply loyal and protective of the people he loves. Like any young dog, he still has his curious moments and can get into things, but that’s just part of his playful personality. He thrives with someone who is active, present, and able to invest time in continued training. He bonds deeply, so consistency and patience will go a long way with him.
