It is my pleasure to introduce to you: Gremlin! This gentleman is a very high energy and playful teenage boy looking for an active family that will allow him to spend his days having fun. If he could live out all of his days outside running around, he would do so happily. This pup does not have an off-button, and he would do best in a family that understands this go-go-go demeanor and is willing to do what they can to help tire out a dog that would play fetch/tug for hours. He will also tell you all about his shenanigans! He will have full blown conversations with you. This fella is fully vetted including: vaccinations according to his age, deworming medication dosages, a fecal screening, a test for tickborne illnesses, a neuter surgery, a microchip, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Additionally, Gremlin has spent the last few weeks in a home learning how to be a true family pup. He is working on basic training (kennel training, potty training, basic commands, etc.), and he has been exposed and socialized with the current resident animals in his foster home: dogs and cats of various ages and sizes. It is important to note that, while he is extremely friendly and just wants to play, he might do best in a household that either does not have cats or has resident cats that like this rough play. He would do best as an only pet. He loves people but gets very aggressive with other animals (dogs, cats, geese, etc) and must be kept on a leash during walks and time outdoors. He's done well with kids (ages 5 to 11) and strangers, but not other animals. He prefers to lie next to someone as often as he can. He has separation anxiety and takes medication for it. He is a fairly "needy" dog, not wanting to be left alone. He's spent more time in a crate at home alone than a dog should on a regular basis and the family agrees that he would be happier in situation where he's got someone to simply be at home with him so his crate time isn't so long every day. We adopted him from the shelter four years ago as an adult. We've kept all the adoption paperwork and vet visit papers.

Mila is completely house trained and can be left unattended in the home, but she is also crate trained and does well in a crate. Mila does well on a leash and enjoys car rides. Mila can be a bit protective of her food. Mila does better with a grain free food that does not have chicken. I am looking for a home for Mila after recent intense medical challenges with my infant daughter and Mila's need for veterinary care for problems with ear infections. The care, time and money required to care for my daughter has been a burden on caring for Mila.
