Pumpkin is an adorable 1 yr old female lab mix with beautiful tan and white coloring and a heart full of love. Still a puppy at heart, she brings a joyful, gentle energy wherever she goes. At only about 32 pounds she is the perfect size for a jogging partner, hiking companion and napping pal! Pumpkin is fully vaccinated, including rabies, DAPPvL2, and Bordetella, and is up to date on all veterinary care—so she’s healthy, protected, and ready to go home with her future family with peace of mind. This sweet girl is at the perfect age to bond deeply, learn quickly, and grow into an amazing lifelong companion. Pumpkin would do well with a family or individual who can offer her affection, guidance, and a safe place to continue blossoming. She does well with other dogs and does fine with dog savvy cats! Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Walter's Story Senior Spotlight! Let us introduce you to Walter! Walter was found at Byrne Dairy in Rochester after being dumped there. He had no identification and he was not claimed after being picked up by Animal Control. One of our volunteers was made aware of Walter and asked if we could help! Walter is now being fostered at our volunteer Haley’s home and she describes him as “the whole package”! We estimate his age at 7-8 years old. He’s a perfect older gentleman! Potty trained, crate trained(mostly), does well with other dogs! (We don’t have a cat to test him with) He is a wonderful snuggle bug! He does great riding in the car and he’s got that typical “bull in a china shop” exuberance that labs and lab mixes are famous for! * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. All dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked. Look DEEP into my eyes :).I am such a sweet and gentle girl with a heart of gold and so much love to share! My life was ruff before I landed here at the rescue, I was at the pound with my puppies, all 8 of them!! I was really blessed that I got to stay with them and get pled to a rescue, most mamas and pups are separated because most rescues prefer pups over mamas ;( But not MY rescue, I am just as loved as my pups are and I don't have all the puppy antics to handle :) So here I am, looking marvelous and waiting for that family who wants a soft and sweet girl to grace their couch... I am waiting for you to choose me because FRANKLY I go along with any color couch!! Tan- yup, white- ok (who buys white couches??), black- absolutely, chocolate- perfect match and even red!!
