Harley knows sit and sits pretty and she loves hugs and peanut butter! Harley will need a patient owner and a possible calm home where she can continue to bloom and learn to trust. I’m proof that age is just a number! I still have plenty of pep in my step, and I love to run, play, and even entertain myself when no one’s looking. I get along great with other dogs too, so if you have a furry friend, we’ll be fast buddies. I do take a little thyroid medicine twice a day, but don’t worry—my foster mom says I’m a pro at pill time! A soft bed, a cozy crate, and some snuggles on your lap are my idea of heaven. I’m crate trained, love to explore the yard, and will always be happy to curl up next to you when the day winds down. Looking for a loyal companion with a youthful heart and sweet soul? Look DEEP into my eyes :).I am such a sweet and gentle girl with a heart of gold and so much love to share! My life was ruff before I landed here at the rescue, I was at the pound with my puppies, all 8 of them!! I was really blessed that I got to stay with them and get pled to a rescue, most mamas and pups are separated because most rescues prefer pups over mamas ;( But not MY rescue, I am just as loved as my pups are and I don't have all the puppy antics to handle :) So here I am, looking marvelous and waiting for that family who wants a soft and sweet girl to grace their couch... I am waiting for you to choose me because FRANKLY I go along with any color couch!! Tan- yup, white- ok (who buys white couches??), black- absolutely, chocolate- perfect match and even red!! So I am sure that LoTS of people and puppies are named after their hometown, right?? Or am I a TRENDSETTER?? Arly is my name and you guessed it!! I was found by a nice young high school kid locked inside a football field;( in ARLINGTON :) Lucky for me, one of the team brought me home and his parents reached out to one of the local police officers who knew just who to call..... So here I am in San Antonio, and if you look It up these two cities are HOURS apart! That was part of my life too...multiple people helping get me safe and rescued. Now I am a delightful pup, smart and ready for my family! I love to play and nap and snuggle. I am waiting for you!!!
