Story
Hi, I'm Blackjack! I'm a labrador retriever mix! I am very social and high energy, so a big backyard would be very ideal for me! I love all types of dogs, large and small! I don't seem to mind cats when visiting them. I would do best in a home without small children because I don't really know how big I am and I may accidentally knock a small child over.

Story
Donner is a spritely middle aged gentleman looking for a couch of his own! Initially when Donner came to us he was pretty shy and unsure, but he has since opened up and blossomed into a pretty outgoing guy. He is a master of several tricks including "Sit" and "Speak", and loves to work for some yummy treats. Donner does appear to be potty trained. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Donner home. If you are interested in meeting with Donner, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Dora wants nothing more than a comfy couch to lay on and her favorite people right next to her. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Dora home. Story
Mr. Bob is in need of a loving family who will help teach him that the world isn't as scary as it has been for him. He would do best with people who will give him plenty of time to warm up and do things on his own terms. This guy was roaming the streets for a little while and really didn't want to be caught. Once he got to the shelter, he remained shut down but has slowly warmed up to us! This sweet boy has so much potential. He would benefit from continued reward-based training in his new home. Since he is a big boy, he can be quite strong on the leash. If you have other animals at home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Bob home. If you are interested in meeting Bob, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Story
Clover isn't sure why she ended up in a shelter at such a young age but she is ready to find her forever home with a fresh start! Things currently are overwhelming and very scary right now. We are working on gaining confidence on the leash and being around new people. We have been making progress slowly but surely! It would be best to go slow with her and allow her the time to become comfortable with new people and situations. She would also benefit from continued socialization with other dogs, people, sights, and sounds! If you are interested in meeting Clover, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.
