Lumi is a beautiful girl seeking a family to help her gain some confidence in this big world! When Lumi came to us, she was terrified of everything. Leashes, other dogs, any sound you could think of it was all too much for her. We are very slowly making progress, but she is going to take a lot of time to come around and learn how to be a normal dog. She will need some help learning her basic commands and manners. Poppy loves to dig in the yard, so "leave it" is one of the commands that especially important to work with her on. She is housebroken and crate trained. She gets along with the other dogs in the program and loves to play with toys and fetch. She is very affectionate and intelligent and can be stubborn at times too. This sweet baby was born as part of a litter on the streets of Memphis. Luckily the community rallied around him, his mom and his siblings and began caring for the little family.
