This beautiful 5-month old girl, currently around 15 pounds is going to be a very sweet addition for a very lucky family. She's still learning about the world and will need a patient, understanding home to help her build confidence. She can be timid with noises--especially outdoors, but is gaining confidence everyday. She can be shy with new people at first, but warms up quickly. She absolutely loves being close to her humans and thrives on companionship. She'd love to have another dog in the home (big or small) to play with, cuddle, and help her feel more secure. Hazel is incredibly loving and affectionate so make sure you are prefared for a dog with no boundaries. A few things to know - Hazel has serious hops, like she's on springs! We strongly recommend a securely fenced yard and someone committed to training her with recall. She'd do best with someone who is home more often than not, though we believe she'll continue to adjust and get more used to being alone with age. She is still working on potty and crate training, but she is making progress! Hi Beth, this is the other dog. I’ve been waiting on new photos. His name is Danny. He’s a senior, approximately 10 or 11. He has obedience training too, but it was almost 8 years ago. He’s very sweet, a little hyper, loves his ball, and great with all people. He is dog selective but does well with most females. He’s lived with numerous cats, but he’s not trustworthy with them.
