Spayed or Neutered,
Story
blaze is about 6 years old. She’s German Shepard/ lab mix. She grew up in a home with another dog (lab) and 3 children (currently ages 7,8,12) Blaze sometimes comes when called. She likes to chase and she’ll play fetch without the bring-it-back part. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. has been to groomer once, they did a great job removing her undercoat. Blaze is scared of loud music and fireworks. She gets very excited when kids scream and will jump, nip, and bark. Blaze barks when people knock on door and barks at strangers outside. She has an issue with her hind legs. She’s been to the vet but they didn’t provide a diagnosis. Her hind legs are sort of lame sometimes? Like she falls down stairs and is unable to jump onto the bed, couch or onto car. Blaze needs a home asap. I e been looking since March. I’m getting divorced and I’ve relocated and I can’t keep her where I live now.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
I adopted Rex from adopt-a-pet back in 2018 and he's been great dog for many years. Rex aka Rexington Charles, loves attention, butt scratches and to have a tennis ball at all times. Rex is very selective when it comes to other dogs, often smaller and/or less playful dogs he does well with he likes to be left alone by other dogs. After recently having twins, we've been unable to give him the exercise and attention he really deserves, thus we are attempting to rehome him.

Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Dexter was born sometime in September of 2021. We rescued him from homelessness in August of 2022. Dexter was abused growing up as a puppy, and had to fight for food with another dog. In that time, we’ve learned that he’s super anxious around other dogs (to the point of screeching and shaking), doesn’t get along with cats (he wants to play with cats but cats don’t want to play with him), and that children can’t just walk up to him otherwise he growls. We are having to rehome him because we live in an apartment and Dexter needs someone who doesn’t have kids, doesn’t have cats, doesn’t have dogs, and a home with a backyard where he can go potty without worrying about another dog. We want the best for him and unfortunately rehoming him to a more suitable environment is the best things we can do. Dexter is such a sweet, loving, vocal, smart dog. Makes little gremlin noises and loves to cuddle. Full disclosure: Dexter has some form of a skin condition that we have been trying to remedy.

Story
Meet Anna JuM Kermit the frog says it ain't easy being green, but it's even harder being a black dog. And as if that wasn't enuff, it ain't easy being Anna either. Case in point. I'm sure y'all herd of a little ditty called Frozen right? It's a movie for human puppies, children, children is the word. There were two girl stars in that motion picture but who do all the lil human chicks wanna be for Howloween? Elsa. Elsa. Elsa. With her porcelain skin and shimmer turquoise gown. Whelp!!! What about Anna? She exists, she helped, she's brave. Notice the Annas of the world folks, you need us! I'm a lil lady dog, with a 30 pound body and I'll put every ounce of that dirty 30 into my 100 yard dashes when I black swan dive into your arms. I love hugs. Love 'em. I'm listed as part Corgi part Lab, but who knows! You don't have to be pure bread to be a silly loaf, you can be full of muttsterious ingredients and be a Wonder bread! I'm a favorite at rescue camp due to my go get 'em attitude. I willingly walk on leash and am crate trained. I have good recall and will sit for a hot dog, it's a wiggly sit but at least I'm trying to contain myself. I'm fun with other dogs. I keep up with the long legged big dogs when they gallop through the pasture, I don't let being a miniature pony throw salt on my game. Speaking of salt, let's throw some on the ice and melt away the frozen to make way for Anna banana the wonder bread dog. (from my friends, the rescuers... Anna is a great girl, once she knows and trusts you. She is best in a no children (at all) home. She gets nervous when leashing her as well but we have tricks for that ;) She has a vive for life that matches no other, but she does have her quirks. She needs to be met several times before taking her home ;) **Local Adoption Only Local in the State of Texas 200.00

Story
Taylor is sweet but shy lab mix. He is about 35-40 lbs and about 4 years old. He was rescued from a hoarding situation of about 90 dogs, so he spent most of his life fighting for his food and not being socialized. Despite this, he has not shown any signs of aggression towards us or our other animals. We can see that he really just wants to be the BESTEST boy!! It has taken him a few weeks to warm up to us, and even then he has a ways to go before we can take him out on a leash to socialize him. He is potty trained and only had issues with marking when he first arrived, but has since stopped. He is crate trained and views his crate as his safe space when nervous or scared. He is such a sweet boy and would love a quiet FUREVER home with preferably a confident dog sibling to show him the way. He will need an adopter who is extremely patient and will let Taylor warm up in his own time. It can take months for a dog like him to be 100% comfortable in his new surroundings, but he deserves that chance. You won't regret taking the time for him because inside he is really a little goofball, just waiting to come out :) Please help us find a FUREVER home for sweet Taylor. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
