HI - I'M JOHNNY, a 10-year-old pit/lab mix waiting for a foster or forever home. I'm super cute with my red & white coloring and my speckled ears! My ideal adopter is a single person who wants a companion, a pal for hanging out, walks, hikes, watching TV, car rides, napping. I love to play fetch, and I listen to basic commands. I tend to bond to one person who will be my soulmate, so couples may not be the best for me because I don't want to share the person I bond with and love. I love scratches and affection! I get bored if left alone too long, so best not to leave me out in the backyard for hours. I'm still quite agile and have been known to jump over a fence in my younger days. I'm not all that trustworthy around other dogs, especially male dogs, so it's best if I'm the only dog in the home. I'm still in good health and I'm basically looking for my forever companion to go for walks or hikes or simply watch TV and snuggle. I weigh about 70 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? MEET HOLT! Holt is a 2-year-old Black Lab mix in need of a foster or forever home. He is a good, happy boy who is full of life, and still a puppy at heart. He is dog friendly, people friendly and affectionate! He is loyal, gentle and smart! While he loves companionship, he also can be independent and dignified. Holt needs an active person or people as he's quite athletic and will benefit from regular exercise, like walks, hikes or runs. He pulls a bit on a leash but is easily corrected. WOOF! I'M HANK! I'm a 2-1/2-year-old Labrador Retriever-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. I'm a smart, mellow, loyal and loving dog who has been overlooked for far too long! I can be a bit shy when I first meet you, and when I go to my new home, will need some time to adjust with a patient person or people. Unexpected noises etc. scare me a bit, so I would do best in a quiet environment where I can feel secure, with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm also independent and not super needy, and I love to go for walks. I am strong so could use a strong owner. I do get along with other dogs (see video with my brother Holt, who also needs a home), but would probably do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog, possibly a female. I weigh about 60 lbs. HI - I'M SWEET THELMA! A 1-1/2-year-old small lab mix (possibly mixed with a little pittie or ridgeback or shepherd but we're not sure) in need of a foster or forever home. I weigh only 48 lbs! I was rescued from a crowded California in the nick of time, where I was kenneled with other dogs. I'm great with dogs and a lovebug with people. I'm still a bit of a puppy and am learning how to walk well on a leash, not jump up on people and sit for treats. I would love a wonderful home where I can be loved and taken for walks, hikes and other outings. I'd do best in a home with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids (over 8). MEET SWEET LUKE! Luke is a happy & lovable 3-1/2-year-old Pit/Boxer mix in need of a foster or forever home! He had been adopted, but his owner died, and so he went back into the rescue. He has a wonderful disposition; he gets along great with other dogs and is very loving and affectionate to his people. He also loves to fetch balls and bring them back to you. Luke also isn't a big barker, unless someone barks at him. He walks well on a leash, and is a strong boy. He doesn't shed much! Luke also loves treats and is very treat motivated. He was rescued from a California shelter originally after he became urgent for lack of space. While there, he was kenneled with another female dog and did great. He's been tested with numerous dogs and has done well with everyone. He's a loving, easygoing boy. Luke currently weighs about 60 lbs and needs a foster or forever home. MEET BENJI, a gorgeous purebred silver Lab in need of a new forever home. He's currently in the Portland area. Benji was originally adopted in Ohio, but then his owner moved to the Portland area and things changed for poor Benji, who isn't getting enough stimulation. Benji is 5 years old and has spent a lot of his time outside. He's a happy boy, eager to learn and he loves people. He also loves car rides! Benji is a bit of an escape artist when he gets bored, so needs someone who will get him the exercise and time he needs. Please email for an application.
