If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out the application at www.woodscreekrescue.com. Filling out the application is not a commitment to an adoption and needs to be done prior to any further questions you might have or information you are seeking. Our Process is the following: 1. Fill out an application 2. Once the application is approved, you will be called or emailed about setting up a day and time to meet me. 3. After a "Meet and Greet" then a decision for both the rescue and you will determine if this is a good match. After this is determined, we will schedule a home check which can be the day of adoption depending on how things go. Want to see more of me? Check us out on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. Story
Otis is a 5 year old Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow mix. He is a sweet, smart boy who loves to cuddle with his humans, fall asleep with his tongue hanging out, frolic around the yard, and munch on carrots. He's around 65 lbs and has long, silky, reddish-brown fur. Otis is originally from Texas and moved to Oregon when he was 9 months old. He's well trained, walks like a dream, and is crate and potty trained. Otis does well when he runs across kids, dogs, cats, and small animals on walks, but is looking for a house where he will be the sole pet, with no small children. He's spent the past 4 years living in a house with an older dog, and the two dogs have recently run into some dominance issues so we want to ensure he is set up for success in his new home. He's a fantastic dog for his humans and is a low energy, healthy, happy boy. I have a number of pet care items (crate, collars, leashes, toys, etc) that Otis's new owner is welcome to have for no additional fee, if wanted.

Story
This is Mac he is 3 years old and is a Labrador Pitbull mix. The reason for re homing is we can’t provide the attention he needs and the daily activity he needs as well. Mac was the runt of the litter when we first got him as shown in the pictures. Mac is a loving dog who will follow you everywhere. He is kennel trained for up to 8-10 hours and is potty trained fully. He knows commands like sit, shake, lay down, relax, and up( jump). He also is a great alert dog who barks or growls when he senses someone coming close to the home. Mac has a lot of energy. Some stuff that we still work on with Mac is his anxiety, pulling on the leash at times and his barking and his recall. Due to his anxiety he barks at dogs or people but he has never bitten anyone. He Just barks cause he is unfamiliar. He also whines at times when he needs attention and or senses you are leaving for the day but will settle down within 15 minutes. He does well with kids ( he has been around kids 6+)

Story
We are used to older dogs and Lacey has soooo much energy being a puppy. She was spayed in January and is up to date on shots. We thought spaying would calm her down - I think it will just take time. She is affectionate, curious, energetic, funny and so loveable. We would keep her if we were 10 or 15 years younger. Lacey really needs training and to learn boundaries. We have two cats and she is very curious. She has not hurt either of them but she does kinda stalk them. I think she could co-exist with cats with proper training. She will make a really great family pet.
