Story
Buddy is a perfect family boy. He loves kids, car rides, cuddles, and walks. He IS NOT good around small critters like rabbits and gophers. We have been fostering him due to his original owner having to go into a memory care facility. We can no longer do so because our other dog suddenly started attacking him, and he is such a sweet docile boy he will not fight back or defend himself, so we cannot keep him safe. He really is such a sweet and loving boy, and will make the perfect addition to someone's family.

Story
Barry is such a sweet dog. He loves belly rubs, playing tug-fetch, and smelling everything he can on walks. Barry likes all treats, even veggies. He's never had a potty accident inside and isn't destructive to shoes, furniture, etc. (except for his own toys).Barry's great with adult humans, but not with most animals. He has a prey drive for small animals, sometimes herds and plays rough with other dogs, and fought with a dog that had escaped its fence while Barry and I were on a walk. It was unclear who started the fight, and fortunately neither dog was severely injured.I got Barry from a shelter 5yrs ago, and he's at least 9yrs old now. He had been surrendered severely underweight, with skin infections, and with a wounded ear that required surgery. He now just needs his ears cleaned regularly and has had some joint inflammation recently.Despite his faults, he'd be a great pet for folks without other animals who just want to give a sweet doggo a better life than his started out.

Story
Sasha is a loyal, affectionate 4-5 year old dog who bonds intensely with adults, especially men. She is house-trained, highly food-motivated, and plays wonderfully with other dogs in neutral spaces, respecting boundaries during social interactions. When children and other pets are absent, she exhibits zero behavioral issues. However, an unstable background has left her with a hyper-vigilant startle reflex and resource guarding (around food, toys, or her people). In a busy home with young children and a cat, these triggers have led to reactive nipping when startled. To guarantee her safety, Sasha needs a quiet, adult-only, single-pet home where she can be the sole focus, alongside safe dog socialization in neutral settings.

Story
Juniper Grace was born in October, 2020 and we adopted her as a puppy. Many people think she is still a puppy because of her puppy-like ears and shiny coat. She has lived her life primarily as an in-home pet but has the energy for a fenced yard and loves to sniff out moles, rats or other varmints. Juniper is very smart and is trained to sit, lay down, relax & leave-it. She loves walks and meeting new people but can get nervous if someone pets her too much. She has not had a lot of experience around kids and tends to be reactive to other dogs unless she is able to get to know them. Juni was diagnosed with a heart murmur at her first vet visit and we were told by a veterinarian cardiologist that she would only live 3 years. Now at almost 6 she is going strong! All of our kids have moved out and my husband and I are down-sizing so we yearn for her to find a perfect home. She loves attention and would respond readily to receiving more attention that we can give her.
