Story
Nero is the sweetest and goofiest boy! I adopted Nero when he was just 12 weeks old. He turns 4 this May! He is technically a labradoodle but looks like a big shaggy lab with the feathering gene that adds a bit of white to his chin and his eyebrows and does shed. He has a TON of energy so a fenced yard would be great! He is currently getting training with Sit Means Sit to help him focus on the leash etc... He did the 5 day board and train which helped tremendously. The plan I chose comes with one on one training for the remainder of his lifetime! So This could be transferred to the his new owner. He loves to cuddle with his humans! Due to a divorce, I will longer have a yard and am going to have to rent a small apartment and am gone for work 8-10 hours a day. Nero is an AMAZING and loving dog! He does need to be with someone who can continue his training for a bit longer if they want to walk long distances on a leash. ZERO aggression - just has energy abound!!

Story
Meet Mr. Social Butterfly, aka Radish. He is super curious, playful, very social, and friendly. He's good on walks and doesn't pull much except when he wants to say hi to other dogs and people. Radish was born around August 2021. He weighs about 98 lbs and has a gorgeous white coat with tan, yellow and fawn color markings. His canine DNA test results were Great Pyrenees, mix with Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd.  Radish is very loving, cuddly, and loves belly rubs. He enjoys playing with other dogs of all sizes and gets along with cats. He's intelligent, attentive, eager to learn new tricks, and commands and picks them up very quickly. His favorite toy is a stuffed dinosaur, and he loves the water. He doesn't love the crate but does relatively well in it.  ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206. Story
WOOF! I'M HANK! I'm a 2-1/2-year-old Labrador Retriever-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. I'm a smart, mellow, loyal and loving dog who has been overlooked for far too long! I can be a bit shy when I first meet you, and when I go to my new home, will need some time to adjust with a patient person or people. Unexpected noises etc. scare me a bit, so I would do best in a quiet environment where I can feel secure, with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm also independent and not super needy, and I love to go for walks. I am strong so could use a strong owner. I do get along with other dogs (see video with my brother Holt, who also needs a home), but would probably do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog, possibly a female. I weigh about 60 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
MEET HOLT! Holt is a 2-year-old Black Lab mix in need of a foster or forever home. He is a good, happy boy who is full of life, and still a puppy at heart. He is dog friendly, people friendly and affectionate! He is loyal, gentle and smart! While he loves companionship, he also can be independent and dignified. Holt needs an active person or people as he's quite athletic and will benefit from regular exercise, like walks, hikes or runs. He pulls a bit on a leash but is easily corrected. He is a sweet boy, and weighs about 60-65 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M JOHNNY, a 10-year-old pit/lab mix waiting for a foster or forever home. I'm super cute with my red & white coloring and my speckled ears! My ideal adopter is a single person who wants a companion, a pal for hanging out, walks, hikes, watching TV, car rides, napping. I love to play fetch, and I listen to basic commands. I tend to bond to one person who will be my soulmate, so couples may not be the best for me because I don't want to share the person I bond with and love. I love scratches and affection! I get bored if left alone too long, so best not to leave me out in the backyard for hours. I'm still quite agile and have been known to jump over a fence in my younger days. I'm not all that trustworthy around other dogs, especially male dogs, so it's best if I'm the only dog in the home. I'm still in good health and I'm basically looking for my forever companion to go for walks or hikes or simply watch TV and snuggle. I weigh about 70 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email me for an application.

Story
WOOF - MEET TEAK! Teak is a young and energetic red lab/pit mix in need of a foster or forever home! On paper he's 2 years old, but we think he's just a pup, around 1 to 1-1/2. Teak is an 80-pound happy boy who will benefit from some basic training and commands. He's a smart learner, and he needs someone who would love to help him transform into the best dog ever! He is learning slowly to walk on a leash, as nobody ever taught him before, so would do well with someone who has a backyard and room to run, while he gets up to speed. Teak was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, and was one lucky boy to get saved. He's a handsome dog with a gorgeous red coat, and is always happy to see his person. He would also do well with an active person or people who can take him for hikes and other outings. Please email for an application.
