Story
Hunter is a gentle 60-pound Lab mix with a heart of gold. This strong boy, about a year old, was found running loose on the back roads of Tennessee, but despite his tough start, he's in great shape with a silky black coat. While no one has come forward to claim him, Hunter is patiently waiting for a loving family to call his own! Hunter enjoys his daily walks and is working on not pulling on the leash. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 He’s curious, playful, and loves other dogs! He’s been sharing a pen with a Lab mix girl and he has been having a ball playing with her non-stop. Hunter does the cutest little dance when it’s time for his meals or walks—it’s sure to put a smile on your face!  He did originally have a run-in with a neighbor’s chicken , so he might be best suited to a home without small livestock.  This boy is a great dog and would make a wonderful life long companion to someone that wants to feel special to someone....and a dog is the best creature on earth to give you all the 'feel-goods' in life. Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Hunter find their forever homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Are you ready to give this playful boy a chance at a new beginning? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 27, 2025, 2:30 pm

Story
Ginger is sunshine in puppy form. Sweet, curious, and full of life, this Lab and Heeler mix was born around December 10th and is ready to find a family to call her own. Her journey began in a barn, where she and her three siblings were found alongside their mom—cold and hungry, but safe together. With help from caring people, Ginger now gets to focus on being exactly what she’s meant to be: a joyful, loving puppy. At just 8–9 weeks old on 2/6, Ginger weighs 10 pounds and is expected to grow into a 60–70 pound adult. Her mom, a sweet 80-pound yellow Lab mix, has passed down not only good looks but a gentle, friendly nature that shines through in Ginger’s personality. This little girl is not shy about love. She is playful, inquisitive, and eager to experience everything around her. Ginger’s looks are as charming as her personality—soft white fur dotted with freckles, a beautiful brown mask outlined in black, freckles dusting her nose, and a perfectly placed brown spot right on top of her head that makes her unforgettable. Story
These beautiful black Lab mix puppies that weigh 6-9 pounds at the time they were abandoned are called the Drive By Driveway Orphans. Five pretty little puppies that were carelessly thrown away like unwanted trash.  The puppies were just standing there in this country home’s driveway on a rainy cold morning during the tornado events that Middle Tennessee repeatedly struggled to endure.  Wet and bloated with tummies full of worms, these babies were sweetly scooped up by a guardian family who wrung their hands to get them safe and  over to a vet immediately.  Soon their concerns on health were settled and taken care of and together the family is working with Critter Cavalry Rescue to find them other fosters and also forever homes.  They appear to be 5 weeks old and just the sweetest little snuggle babies.  We need other fosters to help with this crew of Lab mix puppies. They are small and happy and need some good one on one that the current foster mom cannot give due to her work schedule and taking care of many animals at her own little Hobby Farm.  We are looking for fosters to help with puppies in a set of two or three clusters.   Critter Cavalry Rescue will supply all vetting, meds, food if needed, and crates or bedding.  We are very supportive and available to guide any foster family that steps forward to take them for a 3-5 week period of time.  We are able to adopt to local Tennessee families and also adopt to families in the Northeast.  Please help us help this little tribe of babies that never asked to be born and certainly they are not trash to be thrown away.  God Bless the helpers who give of what they have and who share with those who have nothing and no place to go. Story
This amazing puppy that has the beautiful golden smile and coat of a golden color as well, is called Gabriel.  Living his first 4 months of life in a 10X 10 outdoor kennel with his other 6 siblings, this boy never has had a chance to run and play and be loved on until August 15th.  The day his life changed and that of his 6 siblings, will be a special one for Critter Cavalry Rescue.   Their hard and cruel past is behind them and now a bright and shiny future is promised them as CCR starts posting all the wonderful girls and boys that are from that litter.  They are loving, some shyer than others, but all are hungry to be cuddled, played with and offered the chance to love their humans deeply and forever.   Having a yard to run and play in has been a first ever since 8/15.  Can you imagine the freedom and exhilaration that our boy Gabriel has been feeling?  He has a little foster girl to kiss and play with and other dogs and even some chickens in the backyard.  He has been neutered and shots started and dewormings under way.  The road ahead will be a breeze compared to his first 4 months.  Currently he weighs 25 pounds and is destined to be a 55 pound adult lovebug.  If you love his smile then you will love his heart even more.  Friendly and learning all the new things about this wonderful world of good food, a dog bed, chew toys and above all, humans who care about him.  What more could make a puppy happier?  Well all that is left to top these great changes is to have a family adopt him!!!!   Could that be you!?  Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  We adopt locally in Nashville, TN area where he is fostered and we also offer transportation to the northeast to families and homes that want to give our dogs and cats a better life.  Just let us know where you live!  We can get our boy there and close! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 27, 2025, 7:22 pm

Story
Meet Beauregard (Beau ) &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Some dogs are born with a purpose, but they never get the chance to discover it until someone believes in them. Beauregard is one of those dogs.  This Lab/Hound mix boy was found abandoned on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Middle Tennessee—hungry, covered in fleas and ticks, scarred from hardship, and too terrified to accept a gentle human touch. He had all but given up on life, surviving only on scraps of food and little more. Beau's story didn’t end there. Caring rescuers saw beyond his broken, skinny body and haunting eyes. With Critter Cavalry Rescue’s help, Beau was trapped, treated by a vet and given the first real chance of a good and loving future in his young life. Less than a year old and painfully thin,  Beau has since grown into a healthy, strong 75-pound boy with a heart that’s slowly learning how to trust and love again.  His foster mom, Cissy, describes his journey best:  “When Beau first arrived, he wouldn’t come out of his doghouse or look at me. But little by little, food, fresh water, and the happy barks of my other dogs began to chip away at his fear. The first time he took a treat from my hand, I knew he was beginning to understand love. Now Beau is part of our pack—he follows me around the farm, plays with the other dogs, and even helps encourage new rescues to run and play, just as others once taught him. He still has moments of fear with new people or the leash, but his confidence grows every single day. Watching him blossom has been nothing short of amazing.”   Beauregard’s scars—both inside and out—are healing, and his purpose is becoming clear that he is going to be a loyal, loving companion. He’s looking for a home with a kind, but confident leader who can continue guiding him on this journey of love and trust.. With patience, consistency, and love, Beau will give back tenfold—his big heart and beautiful soul are simply waiting for the right family to share them with.&#226&#156&#168 Beau is more than a survivor—he’s a testament to resilience, hope, and the healing power of love. Could you be the one to give him the forever home he’s been waiting for?  please email asking for more information or an adoption form to ccrtennessee@gmail.com   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Jude is pure puppy magic wrapped in a soft Lab mix package. Born around December 10th, this handsome little guy is 8 weeks old and weighs 11 pounds—just the right size for snuggles, playtime, and stealing hearts wherever he goes. His short, velvety coat and beautiful markings make him a standout, but it’s his joyful, affectionate personality that truly shines. Jude is a happy, cuddly puppy who loves being close to his people and soaking up attention. He’s at that wonderful stage where curiosity meets sweetness, and he’s just beginning to figure out the kind of dog he’ll grow into. With a loving family, Jude’s natural intelligence and affectionate nature will blossom into a loyal, lifelong companion. Jude was found in a barn with his mom, a gentle 80-pound yellow Lab mix, and his three siblings. Thanks to kind fosters and the help of Critter Cavalry Rescue, this little family was given safety, care, and a fresh start. Now Jude is ready for the next chapter—one that includes a couch, a family, and a future full of love. Jude is expected to grow into a 60–70 pound adult and would be a wonderful fit for an active, loving home. He can be adopted in Tennessee at 10 weeks of age on February 21st, and for families in the Northeast, he will be able to travel on March 6th. If you’re looking for a puppy who brings joy, warmth, and a whole lot of heart, Jude may be the one for you. Story
Meet Liberty — a beautiful little soul learning how wonderful life can be.  At 4.5 months old and 26 pounds, Liberty is a Golden Doodle/Beagle mix with the softest coat and the gentlest heart. But her story didn’t start gently. Born outside in late October, she spent her earliest months exposed to unpredictable weather and very little stability. Because of that rough beginning, Liberty is still building her confidence — and as of 2/10/26, we’d say she’s making steady, beautiful progress every single day. In just 10 days in foster care, we’ve watched her begin to blossom. She may still be a little shy at first, but look into her eyes and you’ll see it immediately — this girl wants love. She wants connection. She wants to belong. Liberty will quietly sit next to you on the couch, gently leaning in. She’ll snuggle close wherever you are. And when you come home? She lights up — dancing with excitement and offering sweet kisses as her welcome-home celebration.   Liberty is also incredibly smart. With a Goldendoodle dad and a Heeler/Beagle mix mom, she inherited both brains and beauty. She has her dad’s soft, low-shedding coat, making her likely to be a non-shedder. Her fur is silky and stunning — naturally highlighted like she’s just stepped out of a salon. Her coloring is truly unique and eye-catching. In her foster home, Liberty plays beautifully with other dogs. She is submissive and will roll over on her back, showing her gentle, respectful nature. She has also been around children and does well with them. Her temperament is balanced — she enjoys running and playing outside, but she’s equally content curled up beside her people.   One of the most special things about Liberty is her sensitivity to those she loves. When her foster mom recently had a migraine, Liberty quietly snuggled up beside her, offering comfort without being asked. She has that intuitive, caring spirit that makes certain dogs truly unforgettable.   Liberty is expected to grow to around 40 pounds when fully grown. With a loving, patient, and supportive family, she is going to fully bloom into an incredible companion — loyal, affectionate, and deeply bonded to her people. She may have had a shaky start, but her future is bright. If you’re ready to give Liberty the forever home she deserves, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. Liberty is ready to write her next chapter — this time filled with love.   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.February 11, 2026, 11:18 am
