Story
Ranni is a goofy, gangly Great Dane/Lab mix who may be three years old, but don’t let that fool you—she’s very much a puppy at heart! With her long legs and silly grin, Ranni brings boundless energy and joy to every room she enters. Her favorite hobbies include playing, bouncing around like a giant puppy, and absolutely destroying stuffed animals (RIP, squeaky duck #7). She’s still learning her manners and definitely pulls on the leash, so she’ll benefit from some basic training—and maybe a strong walking harness! But with her loving, playful nature and eagerness to be part of the fun, she’ll thrive with a patient and active adopter ready to guide her into her best self. Ranni has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines as well as flea and heartworm prevention. As with all New Leash dogs, she must be primarily indoors with supervised outside time. Ranni’s adoption fee is $75. If you’ve got room in your heart (and on your couch) for a sweet, oversized pup with a zest for life, Ranni might just be your perfect match!

Story
BUBBA is the sweetest boy you will meet. He is a little timid at first but give him 5 minutes and you will fall in love. He loves playing with children and playing with his toys. He knows commands: Sit, stay, wait a minute, back up, high five, paw, whisper, speak, and hugs. He is 5 years old and understands a lot of what you say. He loves his treats (greenies, coconut oil, salmon, the dog bacon strips, for example) and loves being around people. He has only been around a cat once and he didn't pay it any attention because he wanted to play with the dog that was present.

Story
MEET ONE OF THE POETS! So named because they came to us on Valentine's Day. Animal Control had found them all in a crate on the road and reached out for rescues to help. We are so glad they are with us and enjoying room to roam and good food. They are doing great and being well-socialized -- getting the "JoJo's touch" -- so we know they will be happy additions to the families that give them their forever homes. There 4 girls and 2 boys and on the 14th we estimated them to be 5 weeks old. There are 4 girls and 2 boys. We do not have a good breed mix guess, but several of them have speckled areas that look like their could be some Heeler in them. Based on their size now we are guessing they will be medium-sized adult dogs (45-55 lbs) but that may change after we have a couple of weeks to track their growth rate. The puppies will be 8 weeks old and ready to go home on March 7th. We are taking applications now so that we can hopefully find them their homes by the time they are ready to leave their siblings. If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration. Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

Story
Hey Everybody! Meet Chuck! He's a pretty big fella that was turned in to us from a family that had been caring for him as a stray. He gets along fine with kids, other dogs, and cats. He's a bit of a stud and likes to mark, but once he's fixed he'll be all set for your own "Marley&Me" adventures! He'll be available for adoption just as soon as we get his shots and Neuter done. If you're interested in the big guy give us a call/text at 615-680-4022 or email us at animalshelter@trousdalecountytn.gov
