MEET ONE OF THE POETS! So named because they came to us on Valentine's Day. Animal Control had found them all in a crate on the road and reached out for rescues to help. We are so glad they are with us and enjoying room to roam and good food. They are doing great and being well-socialized -- getting the "JoJo's touch" -- so we know they will be happy additions to the families that give them their forever homes. There 4 girls and 2 boys and on the 14th we estimated them to be 5 weeks old. There are 4 girls and 2 boys. We do not have a good breed mix guess, but several of them have speckled areas that look like their could be some Heeler in them. Based on their size now we are guessing they will be medium-sized adult dogs (45-55 lbs) but that may change after we have a couple of weeks to track their growth rate. The puppies will be 8 weeks old and ready to go home on March 7th. We are taking applications now so that we can hopefully find them their homes by the time they are ready to leave their siblings. If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration. Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

Story
owner surrender,This baby cried for months for his owner, he was the saddest dog ever....He orig lived indoors, reports say he kills birds but we have not seen this while here. He wont share food sources, so we feed him inside his crate, no big deal. Nice dog, likes other little dogs but is food protective sometimes when other animals are around just because he came in thin and hungry. He came in very thin.....He is leash trained but should be only dog when food is out to be safe. He really is a sweet dog. He was almost starved and kept on an apt balcony. NO Food is his only fear or issue. He is friends with the other dogs here and loves the little ones. Please consider this boy! He is also crate trained now, prefers outside but will come in to play and be crated to eat or sleep. If not adopted by March 23th 2025 he will no longer have a foster home and is at high risk for being euthanized if we cannot locate a permanent or temporary home for him. We are worried for this baby. He is running out of options and time. He is a really good, easy to care for dog that requires some petting, attention, toy playing time and laying around in the sun, barking when a strange car pulls in the driveway. Young and playful still, but doesn't seen to destroy things.

Story
Mary is a sweet gentle girl. She was an owner surrender because a pet was just not right for the family dynamic. She is as sweet as she looks. Mary is roughly 3yrs old and house trained. She is up to date and spayed. Mary will need a 6’ or taller fence. She can clear a 5’ fence with ease. Due to her breed they are flight risks but make the absolute best family dog. Let us know if you have any questions. Applications can be found on our website.
