Story

Meet one of the Mountain Ranges puppies! Two girls and two boys came to us from the shelter at about 10 weeks old. We do not know his breed mix for sure, but he looks most like a Lab mix to us. Rocky is a very sweet "teenage" pup now and he has been waiting patiently for the right person to find him. He is somewhat submissive compared to his siblings which makes him a little timid initially, but he is so affectionate and loving. We do not know how Rocky and his siblings ended up in a shelter, but we do know he is going to be a wonderful addition to his family. He is house-trained to a doggy door and does great with dogs of all sizes in his foster home. We think he would be fine in a home with or without other dogs. He particularly loves people. Story

Kiya is a loving 1 1/2 year old from a shelter. However she has become more than we can handle, currently she stays in a apartment and does fine but could use a bigger space, she is a loving active dog however she does have behavioral issues such as listening, eating rocks and items, jumping, occasionally having accidents in the house, not the best on walks, attachment issues, paw hitting. She does not like the car or baths as she has a had a bad past history. While she will require a new owner willing to be patient, she needs a lot of training, she is a sweet loving pet for anyone but will require serious training and obedience. She hasn't been around cats so we are not sure if she's good with them or not and she is fine with other dogs. As far as kids she doesn't seem to like them but again hasn't been tested by us. She does have lime disease but it doesn't effect her she will require flee and tick medicine every month and should avoid areas of tics if possible. -Nashville, TN

Hazel came to me as a foster but I fell in love. She is extremely sweet, goofy, and loving. But given her very abusive past, Hazel is very nervous around new people. Food is the key to her heart and quickly trust with lots of treats and affection. Hazel weighs about 40 lbs She's lived with random foster dogs and cats and always has done very well. She is extremely easy to redirect and has a strong desire to people-please. She's a gorgeous pup!

owner surrender,This baby cried for months for his owner, it was the saddest dog ever....He orig lived indoors, reports say he kills birds. Wont share food sources. Nice dog, likes other little dogs but is food agressive when other animals are around. He came in very thin.....He is leash trained but should be only dog when food is out to be safe although he does best with the smaller dogs here and is only reactive with food available or if another dog comes to fence line. Most he is ok with, two of the other males here he is not friendly with thru the fencing.( He really is a sweet dog )who was loved very much by the young person who had him his first 4 years or so. then he was abducted for several months with someone who starved him and kept him on an apt balcony....We rescued him from the balcony. Please consider this boy! He is also crate trained now, prefers outside but will come in to play and be crated to eat.
