BARKLEY is a real sweetheart. He is a delightful Texas Blend, maybe with a small Lab mix. His two siblings and himself came to us as puppies but they both are long adopted. Somehow, Barkley got overlooked and is now past the “cute and small puppy” stage. However, he still loves to play with other puppies and run around with toys in his mouth. His home is on the ranchette with several other dog friends; a home with a dog buddy would be best to show him doggie ways and to model joy/things to be excited about – like walks are fun and for sniffing and show him how to do things . He is super smart, listens well, and loves to cuddle on you. He is food and treat motivated, so will be easily trainable; he will need weighted bowl so that he can eat in a way that is he comfortable/familiar with. He likes having a crate/den area easily accessible so he could feel secure. He will need housetraining reinforcement. It is Barkley’s turn to get out of foster care. He really belongs in a loving home, with his forever family. Can you have it in your heart to give him one soon please? Barkley spent a month of training at Bobbi Colorado’s Canine Camp. Currently, he is undergoing a month-long refresher course. We all know that this kind of training does not come cheap. We invested in this training, as we do not wish for him to grow up in a "shelter" environment forever. Good boy WILSON!! He's so sweet and soft. Probably a lab mix, he is active as a puppy should be, treat motivated, and just a fun guy! He likes other dogs and enjoys hanging out with lots of running and playing. As of 11/17/25, he is enrolled in a puppy training camp with month-long boarding. We want the best for our puppies to make them adoptable. When he graduates, he will know all the basic skills and will be so ready for his forever family. Up for adoption in Texas: Young Sheldon. Sheldon is a gorgeous, stunning, three-(or so)-year-old boy who weighs about 55lbs, and could use a few more. When we saved him, all the ladies who volunteered to help drive him to his foster home gushed at what a looker he is! This handsome boy loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home, including wrestling and chewing on chew toys. He has a medium energy level. Sheldon will roll on his back and offer you his belly anytime you're willing to rub it! He's so sweet. The shelter we saved Sheldon from gave him his name, although he doesn't seem to love it; he will "come to you" if you make a kissing sound. :) He walks well on a leash and has done well at the veterinarian's office; however, Sheldon appears to have some car sickness, so he hasn't traveled too far. He's currently in the Austin area — so if you're local, it might help him on his journey to his forever home. Sheldon is crate-trained and housebroken, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
