Story
Meet Saturn If you think one tiny puppy can steal your heart… just wait until you meet Saturn. At only 8 weeks old, this beautiful tri-colored Lab mix is already lighting up the room everywhere she goes. While her start in life wasn’t the easiest, Saturn carries none of that weight—just a gentle spirit, a curious heart, and a quiet kind of bravery that’s impossible to ignore. Now part of the Paws in Prison program with her sister Neptune, Saturn is beginning to understand what love really feels like. Surrounded by dedicated inmate trainers, she’s learning trust, confidence, and the simple joy of being safe. And in the process, she’s giving that same healing right back. Saturn is the softer soul—the one who watches, learns, and then melts right into you once she knows she’s safe. She has those big, thoughtful eyes that seem to say, “I’m ready to love you… I just need you to choose me.” She’s playful, affectionate, and just the right mix of sweet and spunky. The kind of puppy that will grow into a loyal, steady companion—the one who stays close, no matter what. Saturn is available for pre-adoption now Her journey is just beginning, but her forever family could already be out there. Two sisters. Two second chances. One incredible opportunity to change a life. Story
Meet Neptune At just 8 weeks old, Neptune is already making waves… and stealing hearts everywhere she goes. This tiny tri-colored Lab mix may be small, but her story is anything but. Her beginning wasn’t easy—like so many of our pups, she’s already faced more uncertainty than a baby ever should. But Neptune didn’t let that define her. Instead, she stepped into a new chapter… one filled with hope, love, and second chances. Now in the Paws in Prison program alongside her sister Saturn, Neptune is learning what it means to feel safe. Every day, she’s surrounded by gentle hands, patient hearts, and women who are pouring love into her while rebuilding their own lives. And in return? Neptune is doing what puppies do best—healing, loving, and reminding everyone around her what joy feels like again. She’s curious, cuddly, and has that soft, soulful look that makes you stop and say, “That’s my dog.” Whether she’s snuggling into a blanket or bravely exploring the world one tiny step at a time, Neptune is pure magic in puppy form. Neptune is available for pre-adoption now She may be just beginning her journey, but her forever home could already be waiting. If you’ve been searching for a sign… this is it. Because somewhere out there is a home meant just for her.And Neptune is ready to find it. visit us at www.pawsinprisontx.org today ##2701240##

Meet Odin – Small But Mighty! Don’t let his size fool you… Odin may be compact, but his personality is larger than life! Just look at him sitting proudly in the sunshine — soaking it all in, watching the world with those thoughtful eyes. Odin is the kind of pup who takes a moment to assess his surroundings… and then dives into life with confidence and heart. With his creamy coat glowing in the sunlight and that little pink tongue peeking out, Odin has mastered the art of being both adorable and dignified. He walks nicely on leash (as you can see, he’s already practicing his good-boy skills!) and loves being outdoors, feeling the grass under his paws and the breeze on his face. Odin is: Confident but gentle Curious about the world Compact and easy to take anywhere Full of quiet strength and loyalty He has that “ride or die” energy — the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his person and will proudly sit by your side like the brave little warrior he’s named after. Story
Meet Clover – A Gentle Soul with a Forever-Wagging Tail Clover is one of those dogs who quietly steals your heart. With her soft ears, soulful eyes, and tail that never seems to stop wagging, she radiates sweetness and gratitude. Clover doesn’t ask for much—just to be close to her person, feel safe, and be loved. Clover is currently being fostered in a loving home in Seguin, Texas, where she is thriving in her own gentle way. She shares her days with her best friend, a 25 lb Corgi, and the two enjoy calm play, companionship, and cozy moments together. Clover has a naturally submissive, easygoing personality and showed no concern around larger dogs at the shelter. While she hasn’t yet been introduced to kids or cats, her tender spirit suggests she would do best in a calm, loving environment. She is crate-trained and house-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. Clover isn’t a dog who needs constant activity—she simply wants to be near you. Whether she’s curled up on her dog bed, resting on the couch beside her foster mom, or quietly following you from room to room, Clover’s happiest place is wherever her person is. Clover does have special medical needs that make her story even more meaningful. She has Megaesophagus, which is well managed with a simple feeding routine using frozen, meatball-shaped meals. She also has torn ACLs in both back legs, which are inoperable due to her other medical condition. Because of this, Clover needs a home that can offer a calm, low-impact lifestyle and understand her mobility limitations. Despite everything, Clover remains gentle, loving, and content—asking only for soft beds, routine, and affection. Clover can be a little shy around men at first, but with patience and kind words, she blossoms into a devoted companion. Due to her medical needs, transport would be too difficult for her, so Clover is available for adoption in Texas only. Clover is searching for a special forever home—one that sees past her challenges and straight into her heart. In return, she will offer quiet loyalty, endless love, and a tail that never stops wagging for the family who chooses her. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. To apply directly for Clover click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-643 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home.
