Story
Introducing the newest sweet and savory sensation from McDonald's-meet McMuffin! This delightful treat is here to warm your heart and fill your home with fun and love! McMuffin is a lovely female Labrador Retriever mix, and she's got the energy of a firework ready to burst! Her absolute favorite snack? English muffins, the kind you use to whip up those delicious breakfast egg sandwiches. But, watch out! Her tummy can get a tad grumbly if she indulges too much. As she's matured, McMuffin likes to take life at a leisurely pace, being kind to her joints and bones. But when it comes to showing you affection, she's all in-wet kisses and wiggly butt wags galore! Now, McMuffin can be a bit nervous when she first meets her family, so she's looking for her forever home right in the heart of Texas. She's discovered true happiness in her foster home and would thrive best with another calm, confident dog as a companion. Or, if you're up for it, she'd be over the moon to be reunited with her sister, McFlurry! So, if you're craving a special addition to your life, don't miss out on the delightful McMuffin. Swing by and let her add a sprinkle of joy to your days! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Lyvia, the lovable Labrador mix puppy with a heart as big as her playful spirit! Born around January 25, 2024, her warm eyes and wagging tail, Lyvia is sure to capture your heart from the moment you meet her. Lyvia's journey to finding her forever home has been nothing short of extraordinary. Alongside her six siblings, she was pulled from her momma by Leon Valley Animal Control. These  officers intervened when they discovered Lyvia and her littermates confined in distressing conditions.   The puppies were all left to endure the sweltering heat in a dry fountain without relief, food or water.   Thanks to the swift action of a good Samaritan who alerted local rescues, Lyvia and her siblings were rescued from their ordeal and given a second chance at life. Despite the hardships she's faced, Lyvia's resilient spirit remains unbroken, and her capacity for love knows no bounds. Lyvia is always watching what is going on.  She takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. Whether she's romping around in the yard or cuddled up for a nap, she's always eager for playtime and affection. If you're ready to make Lyvia a part of your family, you can apply for her adoption at www.adoggie4you.org. Her adoption fee of $300.  She is fully vetted, to include a ProHeart 6 providing heartworm protection until 01/06/2024.   Don't miss your chance to welcome Lyvia into your life and be a part of her incredible journey. With your love and support, she's sure to thrive and bring endless joy to your home. Apply to adopt Lyvia today and make her dreams of a forever family come true! This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. Story
It’s Adoptoberfest!A huge thanks to our partners at Best Friends Animal Society for sponsoring this animals adoption fee! Helping us place more cats and dogs into loving homes this fall season!**Adoption visits are by appointment only** If you see an animal you`re interested in, fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-PetCola’s story began on the streets, where she arrived to us shut down, underweight, and battling poor skin health. Life had clearly been tough, and she was scared of the world. But thanks to the patience and love of her foster, Cola is slowly learning what safety feels like. She’s now sleeping peacefully on the couch, exploring the yard, and even meeting neighbors—though she’s still working through her fear of loud noises and unfamiliar people. Her foster has found that a snug harness and gentle guidance help Cola settle when she’s on high alert. She’s learning to redirect her energy through play, especially with squeaky toys, and is starting to trust the rhythm of a calm home.Cola has just been spayed, and some of her behaviors—like humping blankets—seem to be stress-related and hormonal. She’s also a bit unsure about crate time, but with peanut butter treats and a quiet environment, she’s making progress. She’s sensitive to barking dogs, crows, and yard equipment, but responds well to distraction and gentle redirection. Her foster has developed a thoughtful routine to help Cola decompress, including walks, quiet time, and soft reassurance.Cola is a work in progress, but she’s showing resilience and heart. She’ll thrive in a patient, low-stimulation home with someone who understands that healing takes time—and that every small victory is worth celebrating.

Story
What girl doesn't LOVE songs and DANCING? Because she falls in Love Too Easily! Her name is Chetty and she's a jazzy lovebug! She's a female, Labrador Retriever/Pitbull Terrier mix looking for a special family to hold onto me and never let go! Still learning the chords of what it means to be a good girl: such as being comfortable in a crate and walking confidently on the leash. But, she'll figure it out with more and more practice. Her foster family is teaching so much and giving so much love! So prepared for her to give that back to you! She's a super excitable, mid-to-high energy dog, and sometimes forget her size around people! When her humans come home from work she transform from dog to jackrabbit and will jump all over the place and all over them! Gets along great with kids but remind your little ones that sometimes she'll forget just how little they are! She's curious about cats and chase them sometimes, thus we think she would do best in a household with no cats or cats that can hold their own against dogs. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
