Dino his his name, He was originally and rescue dog brought up from Mexico. He was abused the first year of his life lived in a kennel and could not stand up ,this is why he eats laying down. PetSmart adopted him to a lady named Tina I found him on the highway out where I live I returned him to her and then later took him into our home we have had him for a year. He is the most loving dog I have ever had he's very needy and he needs a retired person preferably no other animals although he does get along with animals kids and cats he will chase dear bunnies and rabbits loves to ride in a car loves to go for walks and play very playful fetches but he also digs out of the fence on occasion which is causing a problem as my other dog's follow him out we have realized we don't have what it takes to meet his needs. There was one incident with my other male pug where I came home and he was battered and traumatized it took him about a week to heal there was no bite bite marks but bruises on bel

Story
4yr old Flower has made the best of a VERY DIFFERENT living situation from where he was raised. At my small farm he went from being BOSS guardian of his human family and litter mate brother to student, learning how to chase varmints in close proximity safely with the other 7 dogs that fairly loose their minds without prompt. He was requested to co habit, as well w free range chickens, ducks and sheep he learned not to disturb with introductions to the farm cat without drama. He DOES need a fenced yard as his nose leads him and one would want to b aware of Catahoula behavior. True to "Cat" DNA It is his "tough" and "solid" makes him calm, smart no nonsense. He CAN be off leash once there is a bond. Tweaking his TRAINING A MUST as well for the necessary bond! I am seeking a loving family or single willing to MAKE time to KNOW him; exercise and stimulate him but nothing extraordinary. His mix is "soft". Let's talk Flower.

Story
Tater has been such a great dog the last year but has shown guarding tendencies. Recently they have become worse to the point she’s growling barking at all of our family when she’s on the couch, on her bed etc. health issues have been ruled out! She was a singleton puppy which can come with certain behaviors! She is very lovable, listens well, loves to play but the safety of my kids is my #1 concern and I can’t seem to fix the guarding issue

Story
Prieta is one of the SWEETEST dogs! cat and dog tested. In foster in Tumwater, WA She is a tri-pod (had to have her back leg amputated) but that doesn't stop her from leading a very full life. . https://youtube.com/shorts/ftNP9gkkcX0?feature=share She doesn't run tons but she can and it has only been two months since her amputation! https://youtube.com/shorts/yw6RiGnD_DE?feature=share She came off transport, passed a family with several young children including a toddler and just had to say hello and give them kisses! Smallish size, 38 lbs at 10 months of age so nearly full grown. We can't say her breeds but she is most certainly a black mixed mutt! lol She is super social and super friendly with everyone, children, adults dogs you name it. She loves to be with her people or another dog, but is very human centered. We truly believe, but of course we can never sweat, but with time and proper training, we think she would be able to be trained to be off leash (in safe situations) as she does thus far has shown she does not wish to be far away from you. We are working on leash training, she doesn't pull really, but since her amputation was only 6/23 she hasn't YET built up all her muscles but is doing phenomenal. She is still puppy ish and might chew something if you dont watch but amazingly she has not chewed up her bed/blankets. She really seems to love her deer/elk horns and /or yak chew. We work with an amazing volunteer at that shelter who sends up the BEST dogs. You can see some of them and/or reviews on our fb page Shayne's Fosters and/or the reviews on "Saving Kurth Memorial Shelter Pets' fb page. We believe 100% house trained but on occasion we could be incorrect, so please understand about that but she has never had any accidents since being in foster in WA. Yes we have amazing professional dog rescue transporters who bring them in climate controlled vans all over the 48 states, and yes, of course including WA state. to apply to adopt please apply using this link : https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ shaynesrescue.com Many Texas dogs are hit by vehicles and do not survive.:( She was one of the lucky onesm we paid for her amputation and she is doing well. This is literally the third dog, and all three were black and lab type mixes that we have received from Kurth Memorial Shelter in 2026. We reimburse the shelter volunteers for ALL medical expenses and we pay for transport, insuring all the dogs we adopt, do not require funds from them, so the little amount of funds they can generate go to save other dogs in need. How do we do it? Our founder personally pays for everything.

Story
Rosé is a sweet and loving puppy with a gentle nature and so much potential. She currently lives with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a wonderful candidate for a family home. She has a nice medium energy level and enjoys both playtime and relaxing with her people. Rosé is affectionate, easygoing, and eager to be part of the family. With continued guidance, love, and consistency, she is sure to grow into an incredible lifelong companion. **Special Washington Adoption Weekend** This dog will be traveling all the way from Baja, Mexico, to Lacey, Washington, for our special adoption weekend! We expect to have more than 30 dogs available and would love to have as many of them pre-adopted—or families pre-approved—as possible before they arrive. Visit www.tragictomagic.org/wa for event details, available dogs, and application information. Not quite ready to adopt? We are also urgently looking for temporary foster homes during the event weekend. Fostering can help prevent a dog from having to make the long trip back to Mexico if they are not adopted. We also need volunteers throughout the three-day event. Even helping for just a few hours on one day would make a tremendous difference!

Story
Hi! My name is Ace 🐾I live with my mom, my baby human brother, and my two dog brothers. I’m a super active guy who loves playing fetch (seriously, I could do it all day!), swimming, and being outside whenever possible. If you’re looking for an adventure buddy, I’m your dog! I’d do best in a home where I’m the only pet. I like having my own space and can be protective of my food and favorite toys. I will growl if someone approaches me while I’m eating, so it’s important that my new family understands and respects that boundary. My mom has managed this by feeding me in my kennel! The good news? I absolutely love people! I’ve always been friendly with everyone I’ve met and love being with my humans. Im kennel trained, and happiest when I have plenty of exercise and someone to throw a tennis ball. With an experienced owner who understands my quirks and is willing to continue building my confidence, I’ll make an incredible best friend.Oh, and I just turned 3 years old! 🐾
