Story
Jake is a great boy, super sweet. He loves to both in and outdoors. He will be 3 June 23. I have had some since he was 6 weeks old. He has recently become aggressive but only at other dogs. Therefore he will need to be the only dog. He is fantastic with all.of our children including our autistic 16 year old son. That can be loud and unpredictable. Jake deserves a forever family with lots of love and no other dogs

Story
I rescued June roughly 6 months ago. June loves to play fetch, she loves hugs and loves giving kisses. June is a very good dog if she’s the only dog in the household. When I rescued June they said that she was in a foster home with 5 other dogs and only “snapped” at them once. Since having her I’ve had friends over that have dogs and she has been aggressive to all of them. I have personally got bitten a few times breaking up their fights. I know reading that is scary and it’ll scare away a lot of possible adopters but as long as she’s the only dog around she is best. She loves car rides as she likes go look out both windows. June loves her ball, she could play fetch all day. June is crate trained as she stays in there while I go to work. She is potty trained. She also is house trained and isn’t aggressive to people when she eats or chews on her bones. Please help her find her forever family, she deserves it.

Story
We really have no clue on her breeds, but she does look kind of like a smallish lab?. Esme was just adopted, we will keep him posted as we to make certain she will not be returned. We do have a 5 day trial period, but rarely are dogs returned . We do that to make sure everyone is a fantastic fit, adores each other (she loves everyone and everything). thank you. you can email us to ask?. here is another You Tube video of sweet Esme. https://youtube.com/shorts/wytgVgwpHqc?feature=share Esme is a sweet wonderful super great tipod (we paid to have her leg amputated as she was hit by a vehicle in Texas and it was too badly injured to save her leg. 44 pounds of sweetness, likely a smallish lab type mix? Approximately one year of age. She even heels great on a leash!!! Stray, as so many great dogs are in TX :( . The last photo is her back leg not that long after amputation when she was still at the shelter in Texas. Cat and dog tested and did great. She loves everyone. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted, soulful dog who can walk but likely not great fit for major hiking as she now has only one back leg. This is the link to apply to adopt. https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ Currently ALL dogs we have posted from Lufkin-Kurth Texas are not only human and dog friendly but cat friendly too! Many dogs are impossible to say the breeds but it is anyone's guess. As we know, mutts statistically speaking will live longer and have less vet bills!. All of our Lufkin Kurth Texas dogs were hand selected and are literally their favorites. Everyone who has adopted adores their dogs. She will totally win you over. , Please do apply!!! All our dogs are spay/neutered, current on DHPP and rabies shots, microchipped, tested hw negative, so all of that is done. Our adoptions include professional dog rescue transport to WA and health certificates (vet visit just prior to coming to WA). Any questions, please email us at shaynesrescue@gmail.com Best to include your phone number and good times to call too! Three great short videos of sweet tripod Esme. APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. ZIGGY is adorable…a real BIG TEDDY BEAR Lover. He is probably a Lab/Boxer mix. DOB 7/2/21 (4 yrs old). He weighs 78#...and is definitely 10-15# overweight. He needs less food and more exercise. Ziggy is a big boy but very affectionate. He is crate trained and house trained. He does well on the leash…but occasionally will pull when he’s interested in things. He loves being with other dogs…very playful. He ignores the cat. He loves all people that come up to him. He needs an active family and older children… 10+ ...to throw the ball and give him exercise. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
FOGGY's Story Est. DOB: 12/02/2023 Weight: 50lbs Adoption fee: $99 She Traveled Far for Love — Could You Be Foggy’s Forever? Foggy is a stunning, spirited young lady who made an incredible journey — from the sunny beaches of Mexico all the way to the forests of the Pacific Northwest — in search of her forever family. With her velvety-soft fur and sparkling, curious eyes, she’s sure to capture hearts everywhere she goes. This adventurous girl is full of life and loves being in the middle of the action. Whether it’s a rowdy game of tug-of-war, a romp in the yard, or simply joining in on daily activities around the home, Foggy is happiest when she’s busy and engaged — but she also settles down nicely once her needs are met. She thrives on human companionship and would love an active, adult-only home that will make her part their family and maybe play some fetch in the back yard. Foggy has a crooked front foot, which doesn’t seem to bother her at all and doesn’t slow her down. Maintaining a healthy weight — and possibly shedding a few extra pounds — may help her feel even more comfortable long-term. Because of her enthusiasm and excitement, Foggy is best suited for a home without children. She is also dog selective and would do best as the only dog or with a carefully matched canine companion. A securely fenced yard is a must for her zoomies and outdoor play — apartment living just isn’t her style. She can be vocal when excited or seeking attention, so a family who understands and appreciates her spirited nature will be the best fit. Foggy is brimming with love and energy, and she’s eager to learn. With continued training and guidance, she’ll channel her zest for life into being an amazing companion. If you’re looking for an affectionate and lively addition to your home, Foggy just might be your perfect match! Thanks to a generous sponsor, her adoption fee has been reduced. (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Apply today! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SSAR/Dog Note: Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate."
