Story
Billy is an extremely energetic young dog. He loves attention and loves to roam. Billy does get a little too excited and jumps but means well. Some training might be good for him. But he is such a sweet dog. He gets along well with other dogs and people around. My problem is my allergies are out of control and that is why I need to rehome him. Being in a crate at night time and/or not left alone in the house is best. He starts roaming and will get into things but he is young and some young dogs do that. I have a crate that can go with him. I just want him to go to a good home.

Story
Meet Pancho, a very loving and lovable black lab mix puppy who loves to be cuddled in your lap! Pancho was found with his brother Pepe abandoned in a yard in La Paz, BCS, Mexico when they were just a few months old. Fortunately, a neighbor found them right away and a neighbor has fostered them ever since, so Pancho grew up knowing nothing but love and kindness, and has had great vet care since he was a small puppy. Pancho is going to be a large dog and is growing fast, but he is gentle, loving and really just a big cuddle bug. He would do great in a family with or without other dogs, he has not been tested with cats yet. He is vaccinated, sterilized and ready to find the family who will love him, play with him and treat him like family. Story
Meet Pepe, a very handsome young pup who is super outgoing, friendly and loves to interact with people! Pepe was found with his brother, Pancho, abandoned in a yard in La Paz, BCS, Mexico when they were just a few weeks old. Fortunately, he was rescued immediately and fostered by a neighbor, so Pepe has grown up knowing nothing but love and kindness, and has had great vet care. Pepe is very playful, active, confident and friendly with both humans and other dogs. He has not been tested with cats but he's young enough that he could easily learn to live with them with basic training. When a new female rescue puppy was introduced to Pepe and his brother Pancho, Pepe was curious but very respectful about giving her space until she was comfortable enough to interact with him. He is very smart, learns easily and is going to make the right person a very fine companion! Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ In foster in W WA ELVIRA is a 1-1.5 yr old Lab mix female. She is sweet and easy going yet playful and fun. She is comfortable living with lots of dogs and has been around the foster’s cats without a problem. She is house trained and is used to sleeping on the foster’s bed. Elvira’s favorite time is “lunch time.” The foster describes her as a “lunch buddy that’s well-behaved, quiet, and sociable. She does not bark a lot. I have never heard her bark at my house. She is basically a giant teddy bear.” Elvira has the most gorgeous eyes...possibly from some Australian Shepherd in her background. She is good on the leash and loves to sniff her way around the property. She has met several of our farm animals and considers them quite funny looking creatures and prefers to go the other direction. She loves to be inside the house. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
