Story
Juniper needs immediate foster or adopter! URGENT! **Juniper comes with Training. We so want Juniper to find her forever home we have waived her adoption donation - $0 Adoption! Help us find Juniper a foster home or forever home!!** We are in search of a home for Juniper - foster or adopt. Juniper is a happy, friendly, adorable girl. She is affectionate and playful!! She loves to play ball!! Juniper loves to hang out with you or play in the yard. She is affectionate and loves to give kisses once she knows you. Some people scare her, but once she knows you she is darling and playful. She is so eager to please. Juniper will need a home with a fenced yard. Juniper found herself as a young pup in a shelter in California. She was adopted and then found herself back at the shelter after she was hit by a car. She then made her way to us as a "greyhound mix". She is beyond darling and is so deserving of a true forever home. She has a slight head tilt (adorable) and has some hip dysplasia which may need surgery (but that is not a given) as she ages, but now she is absolutely happy and playful. We did a DNA test on Juniper and we were amazed to see that her mix is 45% German Shepherd, 42% American Staffordshire Terrier, 11% American Pit Bull Terrier and 2% Australian Cattle Dog. We would never have guessed that she had any Terrier in her - she is a gentle, sweet soul and has a coat more like a Labrador or short coated Golden Retriever. And while her "greyhound" roots are not to be found, she is an adorable member of our GPI family and we can't wait to find this darling girl her forever home. Juniper has made great progress in addressing the reactivity issues and she is expected to continue to make great strides with consistent training. Juniper is a past Dog of the Month: https://www.greyhoundpetsinc.org/juniper-march-dog-of-the-month-copy/. Please contact Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com right away to help Juniper now!

Story
DAISY is a darling 4-year-old, female black Labrador retriever mix. Daisy is a smart and kind hearted girl. Daisy is great in the home and knows many commands. Daisy has been fostered with a trainer that has helped her with leash walking, socialization, pack walks and helping Daisy be the best girl she can be. Daisy would want an adopter that was experienced enough to continue her training and follow through with her recent work. Daisy is spayed, up to date with vaccinations and microchipped. Daisy would love a home that continued her training and gave her the calm and secure home she desires. Daisy weighs 60lbs and gets along best with other dogs her own size. Daisy is patiently waiting for her new forever family. Please email cynthia@pawsforliferescue.net and plz include your phone number.

Story
Hector was found wandering the streets of Tonala, Mexico with a wounded leg. Once rescued by our group, he received veterinary care and fortunately he had no complications and his wound healed 100%. He is a very calm, somewhat submissive dog and generally very shy in the beginning, bot with people and other dogs. He warms up to you and starts slowly gaining confidence with patience and reassurance. He would very much enjoy being around people that can guide him.and teach him how to be a dog and build his confidence while socializing him.

Story
Leo was rescued as a stray in Guadalajara, Mexico. He is still in Mexico under the care of our sister rescue until he gets adopted in the PNW. Leo is an amazing lab, goofy, fun, active and allá round adorable. He gets along well with other dogs and children. He enjoys being active and is quite playful, but can also settle and cuddle if that is your preference. He would do best in a home with an active family that has time to offer him and is willing to take him places to explore. He is still learning to walk better on leash. He tolerates well his crate for short periods and is not housebroken. He is a smart boy and will respond to your cues quite easily. Patience and consistency are key for any dog and especially for labs! If interested, send us an application and make sure you answer all questions thoroughly. Thank you!
