Story
Dexter is a 7-month-old, Lab-German short-haired pointer mix. He got his first round of vaccines last Sunday and will get boosters the first week of June. He will have to be neutered soon and it's not optional. There is no adoption fee, but his new owner will need to pay for neutering surgery. Dexter is sweet, friendly with all humans and dogs, and has an amazing temperament. He doesn't bark at people or other dogs, he just observes them walk by. He loves to fetch! He loves to play chase and wrestle with other dogs and loves ALL dog toys. He can be destructive if we leave pillows or a dog bed in his crate, but he doesn't destroy basic blankets. He used to live on a farm, but he killed the chickens, and they had to let him go. We're fostering him at our home in Steilacoom. Dexter needs to have a fenced yard and he needs to exercise every day, fetching or running. He can be a little mouthy but it's easy to correct. Dexter is easy to train.
