Story
Meet Gale! Gale is a neutered male black Labrador Retriever, approximately 1 year and 4 months old, weighing about 50 pounds. He's fully vaccinated and full of life, love, and enthusiasm. Gale is a total sweetheart who adores people and thrives on attention, affection, playtime, and being close to his humans are what make him happiest. Gale has a lot of youthful energy and would do best with an active family ready to continue working with him as he matures. He loves to play and explore, and like many young Labs, he can be curious and a bit mischievous — he is known to counter surf if given the opportunity. Supervision and continued training will go a long way in helping him succeed. He is crate trained and does excellent in his crate. Gale sleeps through the night in his crate without any accidents, especially when his crate is placed in the bedroom where he feels secure. He has never had an accident in his crate and goes outside to potty immediately when taken out. He may have an accident if you let him free roam and don’t monitor him due to still learning the home life potty training. Gale gets along great with other dogs and does just fine with cats, making him a good candidate for a multi-pet household. With his loving personality, playful spirit, and loyal heart, Gale has the potential to be an incredible companion for someone willing to give him structure, patience, and plenty of love. 📍Being fostered in Taylor, WI 🏁My adoption fee is $350 and you can see more about the rescue at https://lastpawrescue.org. Our website takes days to update so please apply even if I’m not on there. ✅You can apply directly at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LPRI/Dog?fbclid=IwAR2NSCms13xrrfdH2mAbM1hPg5dQoC0ruvNJI3TsFtZtsWp9PvNx46zC6SM 501(c)(3) Approved WI Agricultural Licence#285589-DSR

Story
Hello! I’m Lily Pearl, and I’ve been searching for my forever home for over 2 years. How sad. This isn’t due to my fault. I’m a people dog once I find my person. I am shy and take a little more time than the average pup to warm up to strangers and new dogs. Once I do — it’s game over — kisses! I don’t think I’d do well with a dog that gets up in my face, so either a single dog household or maybe a lazy older companion? Sometimes little dogs intimidate me and I bark at them. I’m a loving, intelligent, 2.5-year-old, 60 lb Labrador mix with a gorgeous brindled coat of black, tan, and white. I have big, warm eyes and a playful, passionate personality that’s sure to win you over! I’m eager to bond and would love to shower you with affection—hugs, kisses, and cuddles are my thing. I take things slow and steady, but I’m always sweet and curious around new people. At home, I thrive on mental enrichment, whether it’s toys, balls, or interactive games. I’m crate-trained and enjoy resting there during the day, though I’m always ready to join you for some quality time. I’m a quick learner and already know commands like sit, stay, touch, hug, and kiss! I’d love a yard to run, chase balls, and burn off some energy, and if you enjoy running or agility training, I’m your perfect match! Im potty trained, crated trained, good with dogs and kids! I’m up to date on my shots, microchipped, and ready for my forever family. Can I be your new best friend? I’m not spayed, but I’m up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. 📍Being fostered in Schaumburg, IL (I’m sure we can make arrange arrangements for meeting you) 🏁My adoption fee is $100 + $100 spay deposit and you can see more about me & the rescue at https://lastpawrescue.org. ✅ You can apply directly at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LPRI/Dog?fbclid=IwAR2NSCms13xrrfdH2mAbM1hPg5dQoC0ruvNJI3TsFtZtsWp9PvNx46zC6SM 501(c)(3) Approved WI Agricultural Licence#285589-DSR

It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Bridget is a spunky ball of energy. She is a happy puppy with lots of love to give, but is pretty nervous right away with new people. It doesn't take her long to warm up though. She is very playful and would do best in a house with another dog for a playmate and to show her around. She would also do best with an active family as she does have quite a bit of energy to burn and is a typical rambunctious puppy. She is very submissive and would do well with just about any other dog and doesn't bother the cats in her foster home. She makes some noise when she first goes in her kennel but quickly settles down and will sleep all night before having to go out in the morning. She's very smart and learns quickly with positive reinforcement as she loves to please. She's the happiest when she hears the words "good girl" in a very excited tone. She isn't fully house trained but is working on it, she does well with a schedule and is very treat motivated but will occasionally have an accident if not being watched. She is starting to learn to go to the door when she has to go and it means a treat after she's done. You can't go wrong with Bridget and she will make the family who adopts her very happy.
