A transportation fee of $300 is required and covers health certificate to travel as well as transportation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Meet Dallas: Your Next Adventure Buddy!** Dallas is a fun-loving, outgoing guy who's always up for an adventure. He adores both people and other dogs, making friends wherever he goes. While he's still mastering leash manners, he's making amazing progress every day. Dallas is fully potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He's already mastered "sit" and taking treats gently, and he's currently working on giving paw. Riding in the car is one of Dallas's favorite activities, especially when he can look out the windows. His foster family adores him and can't say enough about his sweet nature. Dallas has a special love for water, so if you're looking for a beach or hiking buddy, he's your guy. Dallas is a perfect mix of active and laid-back. He loves to play and burn off energy but is just as happy to relax once he's had his fun. He would thrive in a home with a yard and other dogs or with an active family ready to include him in their adventures. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Dallas is the one for you! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- My rescue will make all arrangements for me to travel to you as soon as I am adopted. Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the dogs in person prior to adoption. We will Facetime, Zoom and you may speak with the dog foster family. We only send well behaved, well rounded dogs, sending anything other fails the dogs. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran and you have no clue how bad it is down here; we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision, or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.

Story
Are you in search of a running partner? Then Daisy Mae is the girl for you!Sweet Daisy Mae has loads of energy and needs a family who will take her on daily walks and adventures. She is friendly and full of smiles, and is learning how to play fetch.Daisy doesn't know her own strength, so no families with children under the age of 8 years old. She gets along with some dogs, but will most likely chase cats.Poor Daisy Mae was surrendered at the end of April because her family was downsizing to live in a camper and didn't think she would fit in. All of this change was terrifying for Daisy, and she is still quite stressed by the shelter environment. Daisy Mae is spayed, has all her shots, is microchipped and all ready to go to her new forever home. If you'd like to meet this gorgeous gal, please read our adoption requirements and fill out an application online. Our Adoption Team will review your application and contact you to set up an appointment to meet Daisy Mae if you are approved. Thank you!

Story
This gorgeous gal is Ginger! She is sweet and friendly, and loves to play ball. We believe Ginger was used for breeding and then surrendered because she was getting up there in years. Her past may not have been good, and now Ginger deserves to spend the rest of her years treated like a queen. Ginger does not do well with small dogs and will not be adopted out to anyone with a small dog.If you believe you can give Ginger the furever home she deserves, please read our adoption requirements and complete an online application. If approved, a member of our Adoption Team will contact you to schedule an appointment for you to meet this beautiful soul.

Story
Dolly is a beautiful 1- 2 year old and lab mix who came to ACHS as a stray on 4/26. In early May Dolly was adopted and left the shelter a healthy, happy girl to start her new life. Sadly, Dolly was returned to the shelter only ten days later because she had suffered a number of seizures. We are working with our vet to find the best medication and dosage for Dolly to have the healthiest and longest life possible.Dolly is in foster care but needs a forever home as soon as possible. She comes to the shelter during the day and this is too stressful of an environment for Dolly. This lovely lady will need a very special family. Dolly must have a quiet, peaceful home with someone who is home most of the time. She needs patience, understanding and committment that goes above and beyond what most dogs need. Dolly's unconditional love, zest for life and joyful spirit will make every bit of this well worth it!If you have the right home and lifestyle to provide Dolly with what she needs and fully deserves, please read our adoption requirements and complete an online application. If approved, a member of our Adoption Team will contact you to schedule an appointment for you to meet Dolly
