Maine Coon kittens & cats in Penns Grove, New Jersey

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION: Edgar is an adult Maine Coon. He is a big, cuddly boy. Edgar needs a diet of good quality wet food, not dry. He has problems with constipation. He has tested positive for FIV, but is in good health. Recent dental. He will be stressed by other male cats and will be aggressive, but is fine if those other cats are calm. He gets along with females okay. He does not like dogs. He is very affectionate and sweet toward people. He is stressed around small children. Edgar needs in an adopter who has a good relationship with their vet. Edgar is trained to allow claw clipping and likes carriers. He will need frequent claw trims. He is very good with medical care, including oral medication and fluids. He is a large cat, and Maine Coons are smart and need a lot of enrichment in their environment in order to not become destructive out of boredom. The right adopter will understand that a large long haired Maine Coon will need certain additions in their environment and diet. We are not sure exactly how old Edgar is, but we suspect over eight years.

Rosemary is a Maine Coon mix, with Dwarf features. She is very small, with chubby little legs and a fluffy tail. She has Maine Coon jaw development, ears, and very much a Maine Coon personality. Rosemary is very outgoing and playful. She can be shy, and will run and hide when startled, or at loud noises. She loves bags of any kind and will play for hours with a paper bag!

He insisted on squinting for all his pictures, which makes him look a bit unamused, but he is really a sweet and loving kitty. He is very friendly and affectionate. He was rescued from a shelter in North Caroline and made his way up to DPR in search for his forever home! He would curl up in bed with his foster dad every time he laid down. A definite cuddle bug that's for sure! He gets along great with the cats and dogs at his foster home. Celine and her sister, Rumi, were living with their owner in a car for several months before being surrendered to a shelter. They made their way to DPR after that. They are both very sweet and loving, gentle kitties. Rumi likes to find the highest point in the room to nap - she enjoys watching out over her kingdom from her cushy throne! Celine prefers to snuggle up on a cozy bed on floor level. They both have the cutest squishy faces - it looks like their aspect ratio was adjusted unevenly, but that's just how they look! They are very affectionate and love being pet and will rub up against you and give you head butts when you stop petting them. They would make a nice pair if you're looking for a sweet pair of kitties, but they would also be okay to be adopted to separate homes. They both get along great with all the other adult cats and kittens they are being fostered with! The second his foster mom would sit down, he would be right on her lap! He is a velcro cat who just likes to be with you all the time and involved in what you are doing. He has very long soft hair that will need to be brushed regularly to keep from matting. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Jinu! This adorable little 4 month old kitten arrived at the shelter with a badly injured front left leg. They think maybe he was hit by a car. It was thought that he'd likely need an amputation, but thankfully with some x-rays, TLC, and physical therapy, it was determined that amputation was not necessary! He made a miraculous full recovery and now you'd never know it was even injured! He is a sweet and loving kitten who loves to be pet and snuggled. He is wonderful with the other cats and kittens at his foster home and does great with kids as well.
