Story

Puppy is a senior malti-poo with plenty of love and spunk. She's likely around 15 year's old. She currently lives with my dad -- unfortunately, his dementia is progressing too fast and he is no longer able to care for her the way she deserves. She's in good health -- only has a few missing teeth and her hearing isn't as good as it once was. This hasn't been an easy decision for us. We are hoping to find a loving home for Puppy where she can get plenty of cuddles, walk, and the love and attention she absolutely deserves.

Kiko is an energetic two-year-old dog who loves to jump, be chased and cuddle. She's still loves to chew. Kiko joined us as a puppy. Kiko is crate trained and house trained & walks on a leash. Several times Kiko has been aggressive with large dogs and at times ok with other dogs. It's not known how she will be with real young children. He has 2 human brothers, 11 & 6 years old & does ok. Kiko growled when they have removed dangerous objects from her mouth. A home without other pets and dedicated to training her would be ideal.

He was hesitant to be handled by people as there were probably few he could trust in his past. We took him to the groomer after allowing him to get settled in for a few days and this little guy is like a new man! He's enjoying pets and a compliant little guy.History: Exposed to parvo in the shelter and as a result at risk of euthanasia.
