She may be a little “who are you?” at first, but give her a minute and she’ll turn into your tiny shadow and very best friend, happily following you room to room (especially if belly rubs are on the agenda). Sophie is house‑trained, crate‑trained, gets along with other dogs, and would love a home where someone is around most of the time. So basically perfect! Sophie is 15 lbs, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and has had a dental cleaning — ready to move right in. No cats please! No apartment living. No out of state adoptions.

She also gets along beautifully with other dogs and would be happy in a home with furry siblings or soaking up all the love as your one-and-only. With her sweet nature and steady companionship, Sarah is the kind of dog who brings quiet joy to everyday moments. She’s ready to find a forever family to love and to love her right back. She is microchipped and up to date on all her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. He was hesitant to be handled by people as there were probably few he could trust in his past. We took him to the groomer after allowing him to get settled in for a few days and this little guy is like a new man! He's enjoying pets and a compliant little guy.History: Exposed to parvo in the shelter and as a result at risk of euthanasia.
