Story
Bailey  is a 2.5 year-old Maltese mix .  He was surrendered  because  his owner  was not prepared for the energy of a young puppy .  He is all legs and is still like a gangly Colt at this point.  He's very kissy and huggable once he gets to know you,  but he also has lots of energy and so will need a fenced-in backyard.  Bailey is not good with children, so he would be best in a home with adults and no kids under 13.  He weighs 15 pounds. He is house trained (not perfect) and crate trained. Alcovy dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines, up to date on heart-worm preventative and flea preventative and micro-chipped. If interested in adoption, please complete an online application on Alcovy Pet Rescue's website at www.alcovypet.com. You must have a vet reference to adopt. We verify the care of past/current pets. Applications without a vet reference will not be approved for adoption. Our goal is to have the very best home for all our dogs and cats and therefore we reserve the right to approve or deny an application based on what we determine is in the pet's best interest. If interested in adoption, please complete an online application on Alcovy Pet Rescue's website at www.alcovypet.com.  You must have a vet reference to adopt.  We verify the care of past/current pets.  Applications without a vet reference will not be approved for adoption. Story
Dastan isn’t just a dog—he’s a loyal, big-hearted companion waiting to be someone’s whole world. This loving boy thrives on attention and affection, and he’s happiest when he can soak up every bit of love you have to give. Dastan would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can truly shine and build a deep, one-on-one bond with his person. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who will greet you with excitement, stay by your side, and fill your days with warmth, Dastan is ready to give you his whole heart.*Please be aware that he follows a strict low-fat diet, and his treats must be made with limited, simple ingredients. He will also need dental care and vaccinations completed immediately, looking for someone prepared to take that on right away.I am hoping to find a home that understands his needs and is ready to provide the care and attention he deserves. Please only apply if you are confident you can meet these requirements.

Story
Meet Skyler Faith, 8 pounds of pure, snuggly love wrapped up in a tiny senior package. This sweet girl came to us as an owner surrender when her previous family couldn’t give her the time she deserves. She’s ready for a forever home where she can soak up all the love and give it right back. Skyler Faith is a devoted cuddle bug, who is calm and non-destructive. She's alert, engaged, and still has plenty of pep in her step. She enjoys getting out for walks and is great in the car, making her a lovely balance of cozy companion and active little sidekick. Despite her small size, she’s not a barky or yappy pup, which makes her a calm and pleasant presence in the home.   She can be a bit shy when meeting new people at first, but she warms up quickly and soon becomes your loyal best friend. Once she trusts you, she’s happiest right by your side.   As a senior gal, Skyler Faith would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day and can provide frequent potty breaks. She is crate trained and generally does well, though she has had a couple of accidents in the first couple weeks in her foster home when left alone and was unsure of her new place. Since then, she has had no accidents. Medically, Skyler Faith has a heart murmur that is well managed with medication and dry eyes, both of which require medication twice daily. She takes her meds like a champ and is very cooperative with her care. The vet also said she has luxating patellas, but her foster hasn't noticed any issues with that.    If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate dog who still enjoys walks, loves to snuggle, and will be endlessly grateful for a loving home, Skyler Faith may be your perfect match.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Ghost Man    Meet Ghost Man — the 2yo 11lb Maltese mix who’s equal parts adventure buddy and cuddle monster! This handsome little guy comes with the cutest underbite you’ve ever seen, and he is absolutely ready to charm his way into your heart (and your bed, if you’ll let him).   Ghost Man has medium-to-high energy and loves a good long walk — or two. He’s the type to strut down the sidewalk like he owns the neighborhood, greeting every human and dog he meets like a long-lost best friend. Leash trained and house trained, he’s already got the basics down and knows his commands too, so he’s ready to settle right into his new home.   He gets along beautifully with kids, dogs, and cats, but what Ghost Man really needs is a wrestling partner — a fellow small-sized four-legged friend who loves to roughhouse and play. If you’ve got a dog at home who can match his energy and is looking for a teammate, Ghost Man might just be your perfect match. In fact, a canine companion isn’t just preferred — it’s pretty important. Ghost Man doesn’t do well as an only dog, and being left alone can trigger some separation anxiety. A furry roommate makes all the difference! He’s also a crate-friendly guy — he likes having his own little den — but he needs the freedom to come and go. Locking him in a crate or a room can stress him out, so an open-door policy works best for this little dude.   At the end of the day, Ghost Man loves to snuggle up — but don’t worry, he won’t be glued to your hip 24/7. He’s confident enough to do his own thing, whether that means sprawling out on the floor or flopping on his back in the bed like he pays the mortgage.   One thing to keep in mind: Ghost Man’s gorgeous coat will need regular professional grooming to stay looking its best, so make sure there’s room in the budget for upkeep! Story
Alloy is a deeply sweet guy who is working through some fear issues that typically have to do with being handled. He was adopted for a few weeks but ultimately needed to come back to PAWS because of these challenges. He finds fast movements, being picked up or having a harness put over his head pretty triggering. For this reason, Alloy will need an adult-only, low-stress home, where he can have some time and space to decompress. Our trainer has evaluated Alloy and feels he can do very well in the right home. She is willing to work with his adopters to provide the training and tips needed (at no charge) to help him successfully transition into his new home. Even with his challenges, Alloy is a loving dog and has tested well with other dogs.
