Story
Lavina is a 6 year old, 7-pound Maltese with the softest white coat and an even softer heart. Rescued from a puppy mill, this sweet girl is slowly discovering what love and safety truly feel like. While she may be shy at first, Lavina has a gentle curiosity about the world and the people in it. With time, patience, and a kind heart, she blossoms into the most loving and tender companion.
Lavina craves affection but needs slow, thoughtful introductions to build trust. Her ideal adopter will understand that healing takes time and will offer her a calm, secure environment to grow in confidence. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality and gentle spirit shine through, rewarding you with a loyal, loving bond.
Lavina is currently using potty pads and will need some time to get used to her new environment before beginning potty training.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
