Story
Meet Snowflke! Snowflake is a 5-year-old, 10 pound Maltese who is ready to find her forever home and fill it with endless love, fluff, and charm!
This little snow-white sweetheart is as precious as her name suggests, and she is looking for a family who will adore her just as much as she will adore them. Snowflake is crate trained for sleeping, making bedtime routines smooth and stress-free, and she is 95% potty trained — meaning she is practically already home-ready! She loves to stretch her legs outdoors and looks forward to her daily walks, taking in every sight, smell, and moment the outside world has to offer.
Snowflake has happily lived and played alongside cats and two dogs, proving she is a natural fit for a multi-pet household. She is gentle, fun, and knows how to share the love! And if you really want to win her heart, just offer her a treat — her excitement will instantly brighten your day.
When she is not out on a walk or playing with her furry friends, you can find Snowflake doing what she does best — relaxing, chilling, and soaking up all the good vibes life has to offer. Her favorite things include taking leisurely walks, snacking on treats, and cuddling up with the ones she loves most.
Snowflake is the whole package — sweet, social, low-maintenance, and full of love. She deserves a forever home where she can continue living her best life by your side. Could that home be yours?
Snowflake currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area, and her adoption fee is $450.
Snowflake is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
