Born around March 12, 2025, Myles weighs 17.6 pounds and is full of personality. He came to us as part of a 29-dog seizure where, although the dogs were cared for, they didn’t get the individual attention and socialization they needed. Despite that, Myles has proven to be incredibly friendly and people-loving. He thrives on attention and is always excited to be around his humans. Myles would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he truly enjoys companionship and being part of daily life. Myles has also been seen by an ophthalmologist and has cataracts in one eye. He is currently on special eye drops, and we are hopeful for improvement with continued treatment. He also has a playful side—he absolutely loves toys and is always up for some fun. Whether it’s a game of toss or just carrying his favorite toy around, he knows how to enjoy life. He’s currently learning how to walk on a leash and will benefit from a patient adopter who can continue helping him build confidence and skills. With his sweet nature and eagerness to connect, Myles is sure to make a wonderful companion. Myles’ adoption fee is $400. Story
Meet Sammy Jo! He hasn’t had the easiest path in life, but you’d never know it by the gentle way he’s beginning to trust again. This sweet boy is slowly stepping out of his shell and showing us the loving heart that’s been there all along. He is a white 10 year old Maltese who is incredibly sweet and enjoys being petted and loved on by his people. He’s starting to show his playful side by recently wagging his tail and initiating play with one of the smaller dogs in his foster home. He is fully potty trained and has never had an accident in the house or his crate. His crate is his safe haven, a place he willingly goes to relax and feel secure. He also does well with children and enjoys calm, gentle interaction. Sammy Jo does have food aggression and will need structured feeding with clear, consistent boundaries. He must be fed separately, and his space around food needs to be respected. With routine and predictability, he does well. He also has a collapsing trachea and requires medication twice daily. His future family will need to stay committed to keeping him on his medication schedule to ensure he stays comfortable and healthy. Sammy Jo values his personal space, especially around other dogs. If dogs are constantly in his face or if food is involved, he can become overwhelmed. However, he is making steady progress and is slowly building tolerance with proper introductions. Sammy Jo will thrive in a home that believes in structure, patience, and consistency. He needs a family who understands that trust takes time and that giving him appropriate space is a form of love. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who is learning every day that the world can be safe again. The quiet cuddles, the tail wags, the small victories. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together. No one came forward to claim him, so now he's ready to find a family that will never let him wonder where he belongs again. We believe Jeffrey is a Poodle mix, and he'll need regular grooming and brushing to keep his coat from becoming matted. With proper coat care, he'll stay looking handsome and feeling comfortable. Jeffrey is an active, playful boy who enjoys having fun and being around people. He can get a little carried away when he's excited and may give playful "love bites," so he would do best in a home with older, considerate children who understand how to interact appropriately with dogs. He does great with every dog he meets and seems to enjoy canine company. We are unsure how he would do with cats.
