Hello,Byrd is still available for adoption, and his adoption fee is $300. He is about 2 years old and weighs 22 lbs. He came to us because his owner could no longer care for him.Byrd is a very shy guy with new people, but once he feels comfortable, he’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. Even so, Figgy handles it with impressive ease — he walks on it comfortably, gets around well, and doesn’t seem bothered by it. He’s adapted beautifully and continues to enjoy life with a sweet, steady spirit.Figgy is a very sweet dog who does well with other dogs and has a gentle, friendly presence. Meet Kodi — proof that age is just a number. At 13 years old and just 7.5 pounds, Kodi is the kind of loyal, low-maintenance companion dreams are made of. He’s house-trained (even in the rain!), sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, and quickly mastered the doggie door like the smart little guy he is. Kodi loves nothing more than being near you—happily curled up at your side or trotting along on a walk, just glad to be included. He is gentle, calm, and full of life, with so much love left to give. He eats only canned or soft food due to his lack of teeth and his age. Kodi didn’t deserve to be surrendered to a shelter by his owner but now he’s ready to be someone’s whole world. Maybe yours? We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
