Joey was found as a stray wearing a collar and dragging a leash. No one came for him and he had no microchip so as soon as his stray hold was up, he came to Cody's where he can find a home and a family who will love him and train him. He needs a home with another dog or able to get social interaction with dogs on a daily basis as in dog parks, etc. He is a handsome, spunky little guy who unfortunately is heartworm positive but. no worries, we are treat ing him. He will be just fine. He is about two years old and weighs 13 pounds. He has a beautiful, curly coat and is super sweet. We rescued him from a crowded shelter where he was scared to death. Now Joey is happy and living large. He must have been an outside dog in his previous life and now is enjoying the cool of AC and getting love and affection! The foster wants thinks he needs to be with another dog and a yard as he loves others" ##2185958##

Nigel is being fostered in PA. Nigel is a sweet little boy! He loves playing(chewing) toys. 😂 He loves being outside and especially loves walks! He loves to snuggle next to you on the sofa. He is dog and cat friendly. He likes to chase my cats, but he is actually playing with them. He gets very excited when it's time to eat and will stand up on his hind legs and beg. He is very active for 10 years old. He does have impaired vision but gets around very well. Nigel is on drops for dry eye and may need sedation before grooming. He will have a dental prior to adoption. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

He is one super cute 12 year old little senior who was abandoned at the shelter. Sadly, he may have been discarded due to his health issues. Malta has a significant heart murmur and poor vision and hearing loss. However, his charming and extremely loving personality makes you fall in love with him in spite of his health issues. He most certainly deserves a loving home in his last years. His foster mom says he is an amazing doggie who does great with other dogs. He lets her know when he needs to go potty and when he wants to eat. He is a wonderful little guy. Malta is a malti-doodle who loves everyone he meets. His little heart may have a murmur, but it is full of love for anyone who will love him back. Coco was a baby when I first got her, since I had mainly cats at the time Coco was raised by cats and does tend to act like a cat at times lol. Coco will now be turning 7 years old on December 24th. I’m looking for someone who can care for her, make time for her, can take her on trips with them, and is financially stable. She loves being outside and she loves playing with cat toys. Coco is lively, obedient, funny, energetic, and calm. She tends to get the zoomies a lot and loves going out and exploring. Coco loves laying in beds and cuddling with you; she loves snuggling. Coco knows a few tricks such as sitting, spinning, “up” which is putting her paw in your hand, and a few other ones but she is food motivated so when you give her those commands you have to be offering her a treat

Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: He has a grade 5/6 Heart Murmur and must take medication daily for the entirety of his life. ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Meet Mister, a delightful and affectionate fellow bursting with energy! He adores spending time with us, whether we're lounging in front of the TV or tending to the yard. Mister is fully house-trained (please keep in mind this is not guaranteed) and snoozes peacefully through the night by our side. He revels in playing with toys and frolicking outdoors on sunny days. Learning to walk on a leash is a new adventure for him, and he eagerly embraces the opportunity to explore. Though he can be a bit enthusiastic and pull on the leash, his love for treats makes him a quick learner. With a bit of time and patience, he'll master the art of walking on a leash with finesse. Mister is fantastic with children and sports a beautiful coat. While he requires medication for a heart murmur twice a day, he takes it without any fuss and has had no issues so far. He socializes well with other dogs, though he may display a hint of jealousy if attention is divided. We're actively addressing this behavior with him.
