Story
When a local shelter sent us a picture of Sailor, our hearts broke for this little guy. He was matted to the skin, his nails were long and curled and he had bugs living in his matted hair. His foster mom spent hours shaving him to make him more comfortable and also cut his overgrown nails. He is now fully vetted and ready to find his forever home! His foster mom can’t say enough good things about this sweet little guy. Sailor sleeps through the night and is fully potty trained, letting you know when he needs to go out. If you work from home, Sailor would be the perfect companion, content to be your snuggly, though slightly unproductive, assistant. He would love nothing more than to curl up with you on the couch or be held close. Sailor is a 10 year old, 8 pound, Maltese mix.

Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
